One of those important questions that bother the record collector:
Why the hack they needed to change the artwork for the Metronome Records re-issue of this 1967 Karneval-Party LP? (The title roughly translates to “The Big 'Avangers' Frolic”, an attempt to cash off from the popularity of the TV-series.)
It wouldn't be interesting at all if it wasn't rare (prices go up to € 30,- on E-Bay) and despite of consisting mostly pretty dull beer-drinking waltzes and polkas it contains two pretty cool Beat Schlager by Trude Herr, unavailable elsewhere (which explains the price).
And one these two was the initial inspiration to this 1993-mash-up:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itci7NqGPlM
(People! This is good old Atari and 36 kHz samling technology! ;-) )
