Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from January 18, 2019 Favoriting

Uncle Michael's avatar View Uncle Michael's profile Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Then he slashed them with his sharpened antlers and strangled them with the sleigh harness and hung their carcasses on the barbed wire with the dead coyotes."

The lyric that whopped him upside the head is pretty normal in the world of songs and poetry and other writing. Something set the Jenga stack of his faith to extra-precari-collapsious.

Anita Ward would be fun in this set, but maybe not juuuust right.

Sorry listen at work, in and out of range of my internet-connected radio (which I have to bypass the office firewall which doesn't allow FMU through, by using my phone as a Bluetooth Hotspot which allows my iPad to get on the internet, which then goes to a radio, with some audiophile gear in between, whew), so I missed the announcement Congrats, UM. I'm a bit jealous of course, but a large music purchase at this point could lead to divorce at chez Doctorjazz.
