Good morning Sinead from snowy Armenia.

Diezel Tea:

Why is the playlist for this show always delayed? Do you not have an assistant?!? Hehe, also can someone along with me appreciate the humor in playing Interpol right after Joy Division? hehe
Avatar 3:11am
Diezel Tea:

Well, we don't have Thanksgiving over here, so I'm working. That's what I'm getting up to. There was a punk band here for a few years if you wanna check them out. BTW, there's no scene for punk in Armenia, there's only hard rock, extreme metal, and "indie" rock, but it's all crappy. The punk band was cool - varakvatz.bandcamp.com - until they broke up.

Eric from Lake Hiawatha:

Happy Thanksgiving, how long until a politically correct iteration emerges of this “holiday” is thrust upon us
  3:21am
BH:

Checking in from Missouri. Listening in bed via phone. Cat is asleep next to me.
  3:26am
Eric from Lake Hiawatha:

@SCRAPS sorry I am not aware of the Joy Division /Interpol humor, could you explain?
Avatar 3:27am
ToTetsu:

Listening from Japan, I always get the best of late night radio while I am at work. 3 minuets left!
  3:28am
Eric from Lake Hiawatha:

@Diezel Tea? Joy Divison/ Interpol...
Avatar 3:28am
Scяaps:

jeez, now we don’t even wait for people supposedly loudly proclaiming things Politically Correct to stopping them?? Like Trump pretending to stop anti-Thanksgiving.... smh
Avatar 3:30am
Scяaps:

Eric, when Interpol was first a Thing, lots and lots of people said “it’s just Joy Division”, that’s all
  3:31am
BH:

The Dead Weather! The dream of mid-late 2000s Alt Rock lives on!
  3:33am
Eric from Lake Hiawatha:

Scraps, got it, thanks
Avatar 3:35am
Diezel Tea:

Yeah that's pretty much the joke, that when Interpol came out a lot of blogs were dismissing them as Joy Division ripoff, so to play them right after Joy Division is funny. However, Joy Division hasn't been making any new music last I checked so what's wrong with Interpol continuing in that vein? It's like dismissing Electric Wizard as a Black Sabbath ripoff.

Eric from Lake Hiawatha:

I was a Redskjn in High School...understandably morphed into a Redhawk... guess it depends on the economics

Eric from Lake Hiawatha:

I will have to listen thanks

"Warmduscher" in German means "warm shower taker" (doesn't take cold showers). Swareword for "over-sensible coward".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01am
Guido from Cologne:

Is that PiL's "Careering"?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:03am
Guido from Cologne:

The vocal "Echoes" tune relly is like PiL's "Careering", I'm pretty sure.

Yeah WIRE!
