![]() The neural network text generator named a book I had never heard of, "A Voyage to Arcturus ". So I downloaded it from Gutenberg. The first review I found on Good Reads says, "Apparently David Lindsay said once that he would never be famous, but that as long as our civilisation endured, at least one person a year would read him. I think he was probably right. This is not a well-written book, and there is very little character development - but it is full of amazing, larger-than-life ideas, and some of it will stick in your mind for ever." Stevo & Santos L. Halper: Been planning on reading A Voyage to Arcturus for a long time. I think C.S. Lewis mentioned it as an influence on his Space Trilogy. I'll have to dig out the paperback copy I've got buried under my junk. | |
![]() |
![]() @YETI BOB...agreed. I've seen them a few times with the three drummer setup, and it really is something to behold. It's so great to see a band from the late 60's still blasting it out and evolving while being able to visit the back catalog more than ever. I've read the door is open to Adrian Belew. It would be insane if he somehow got incorporated back into the fold as well! Perhaps it would set things askew, but I think they are all seasoned enough to make it work. |
