Tuesday, July 4th, 7pm - 8pm: Mac is Guest Host of Morricone Island Tonight

Tuesday, July 11th, 7pm - 8pm: Barry Adamson
Barry Adamson joins Morricone Island to have a listen to his latest release "Love Sick Dick" and to discuss his film music and directing career. Elmer Bernstein, John Barry and Ennio Morricone have all informed Adamson's solo work including his first (of nine solo albums) "Moss Side Story" conceived in 1988 as a soundtrack to an imaginary film-noir crime film. Previously a member of Magazine, Birthday Party and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, he has since composed for over a dozen films, television series and docs including "Delusion" (1991), "The Escort" (1994), "Dreams of a Life" (2011) and his own directed film-noir "Therapist" (2011). He has also contributed music to Derek Jarman's "The Last of England," David Lynch's "Lost Highway," Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers," Danny Boyle's "The Beach" and Allison Anders' "Gas, Food & Lodging."
