Filmmaker, writer, blogger and soundtrack fanatic Jonathan Hertzberg curates this week's installment of Morricone Island. Jonathan's exhaustive knowledge of John Lindsay and Ed Koch-era New York City as portrayed in film can be experienced and enjoyed through his "Dirty Old New York aka Fun City" video series. Whether its the subway, Twin Towers, baseball, punk vs. disco or crooked cops off in the distance, a long-gone NYC is undeniably in the foreground, preserved in all of its glory, as is the music from this era.
