You see a blanket on the ground. It's your favorite color, smooth and soft. You can sit on it, or lie on it. It's a flying blanket, and you are the pilot. You are in control. You can fly anywhere you wish, just by thinking about it. You are the pilot.

  Mon. 8/8/11 10:29pm phil:

Sounds great!
  Mon. 8/8/11 10:30pm G:

Point of curiosity -- I had to learn a lute piece once on guitar, and I was taught at that time that traditional lute tuning is the same as a modern guitar, only the third string is tuned down a semitone to F# instead of G. What tuning does Jozef use? I hear a lot of sustain on open strings, so I was wondering.
  Mon. 8/8/11 10:40pm jones:

go jozef! hi dan, lovin' the show from out here in MI

  Mon. 8/8/11 10:53pm SF Mike:

Saw Jozef in person last year. Transcendent. I of course bought a CD afterward, still listen to it all the time.
Mon. 8/8/11 11:01pm George of Troy:

Indeed . . . Thanks to Jozef for an amazing performance, and Dan for having him on the show. Heading over to Important's site to order the LP now.
  Mon. 8/8/11 11:05pm G:

Thanks for asking him. Now I get it. I looked up lute tunings on the inter webs, and his post-Renaissance lute has lots of choices for open bass strings, hence all the sustain. :-)
