Oh it's a struggle getting through the first week back in work but the music is helping. Might not help my bank balance though if I start buying all the songs I have liked so far.

Oh:( help I'm losing my mind:(
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 6:18am Ken From Hyde Park:

Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:15am Sem Chumbo:

@Ausmanx: Good evening! Wondering if you are in that Adelaide 1/2 hour ahead/behind time zone?
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:20am Sem Chumbo:

Good god, bleeding from the ears has commenced. In a good way.
Avatar Fri. 1/10/14 7:25am Dave Bombay:

You and me both. I needed a bit of a wake up.
Avatar Fri. 1/10/14 7:29am ausmanx:

hi sem. i'm in sydney, but this stupid country has five time zones in summer because some states refuse to observe summer time. the adelaide half hour zone actually crosses the state boundary 100 km into my state too. politicians can surprise even the most cynical with their stupidity sometimes...
Avatar Fri. 1/10/14 7:30am Dave Bombay:

5 times zones but they are dependent on state recognition? Woof...
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:32am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- I hear the flesh-melting temp.s have eased downunder - ?
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:45am Sem Chumbo:

@Ausmax: thanks for that. Canada too has some regions that ignore DST, and of course, Newfoundland is in one of those 1/2 hour ahead/behind zones, too. Politicians, yup, familiar situation.
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:47am listener james from westwood:

excellent point about the fascinating way in which NYC wakes up. i used to have a job that required a predawn arrival in midtown, and the contrast between 5am manhattan and even 2 hours later was amazing.
Avatar Fri. 1/10/14 7:48am Dave Bombay:

@Listener James - It is a magical thing that not many new yorkers get to experience. I am glad you have had a chance to watch it in person.
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:52am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I thot I was finally gonna hear a male version of 'Cherry Bomb' here...
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:53am Guido (Cologne):

Woooaaahh!!! ;-(((
Network breakdown!
Missed the Thai section ....

Gay version of cherry bomb?
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:56am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- no Guido - the Fuzz started out like that song but got into a totally Rawkin' Hawkwind thang...
Avatar Fri. 1/10/14 7:56am ausmanx:

cherry bomb's one of those which shouldn't be versioned on the basis of... you can't improve on perfection. i believe there are actually 15 minute time zones, somewhere like Nepal... madness!
Avatar Fri. 1/10/14 7:56am pb183max:

red fang is very 'botch'-ed
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 7:59am Guido (Cologne):

Do you know German cover version of Paranoid?
www.youtube.com...

... the joke maybe just works for Germans, since Cindy & Bert were our parents pretty holiday Schlager-Dream-Couple.
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:03am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I kinda like it Guido !...
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:06am Guido (Cologne):

Original pressings go for figures up to $ 244
www.discogs.com...
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:07am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...yerknow - good to see ⚡abbath finally getting some due recognition...
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:10am Guido (Cologne):

... consider the original composer/poet has to agree with the new lyrics ...

This treatment puts the song into a cheesy Edgar Wallace thiller/horror context.
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:12am Sem Chumbo:

Right you are, Ausmanx: Nepal! Must be the excellent hash effect.www.worldtimezone.com
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:15am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I know Edgar Wallace from 'King Kong' ?? - he shooda collaborated w/ Edgar Winter that year...
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:18am Ken From Hyde Park:

OK...time to get them kids on the bus!
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:22am maestroso:

The Forms made me actually like that song.
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:22am Guido (Cologne):

Dime novel author ...
en.wikipedia.org...
... extremely popular in 50ies/60ies Germany.
There was a series of movies, somewhat the German equivalent to British Hammer-B-movie-horror
Avatar    Fri. 1/10/14 8:25am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...on 'Frankenstein', of course
...yeah - Forms certainly Reanimated that one from the dead
...& I too must do the frantic Get Ready Dance (electrodes to the neckboltz) - still listening whilst I may

Avatar Fri. 1/10/14 8:37am Dave Bombay:
