This is Mike Shiflet's first band, Noumena, with Aaron Hibbs - guitar duos recorded live in 1998 while he was still in high school. Nice prelude to his live set in a few minutes.

REALLY??? WTF??? This sounds like something between a Con Ed stem vent and my vacuum cleaner on a Spring morning. This must be the from the first album. All the best material gets spewed w/ the first load. Second release couldn't possibly be this deep. Maybe you could segue this with a set depicting paint drying or grass growing.

As tea leaves at the bottom of a cup mean nothing... All I'm saying is that musically speaking, from the top of the set, the Emperor wasn't wearing a lot of clothes, IMHO. However, I have to admit the set is becoming way more intriguing as it unfolds. To paraphrase brycepunk, at least 50% of the time I tune in: unlistenable... and that's why I love WFMU so much. The other 50% knocks me out. 100% blows my mind. Good work! BTW, the math equations that must be answered in order to get posted are killing me. Maybe they could be limited to two columns? I'm just sayin'...
