Never got into arcade games, but I do remember playing an elaborate board game involving interstellar travel and colonization. The rules prescribed a multi-dimensional play space with a bunch of chits. Roughly contemporary with Dungeons & Dragons. Anybody have an idea what this would have been called? The Willowbrook Mall had the Aladdin's Castle arcade into the 2000s. I'd go to a nearby Tex-Mex joint for lunch, play a bunch of rounds of Galaga (they had the souped-up quick-laser setting, so rock and roll!), then hit Borders for books.
