Ultradamno, I saw Tuxedomoon opening for The Cramps at The Mabuhay Gardens in March of 1979. They had a strobe light synched with the music that Winston Tong did this kind of funny herky-jerky dance in. That was the only time I ever saw them, but it was obvious they were a home town favorite.

Man...so bummed. I know some of you know, my dad stroked out and I've been dealing with that, and I thank you for sharing stories and all the support. NOW, I have been staying with him full time the last few days, and it is torture. Nothing against him...it's just not my place and he s a different guy than I've known my whole life. Anyhow...to shorten an already over-lengthy post...he is not paralized or anything, and can probaby be alone half the time, but there are issues and he gets lonely for the first time in his life, so I do what I do. However, music is missing in my life...and WFMU mainly! Even though I chimed in earlier, I went back to the TV room with him. Life...it's a ride. Happy Friday...all. Dan...looking forward o some tunes...sorry for the journal entry. I love you all! Like it or not...

One thing I made clear to my old man tonight, as long as I'm living with him, don't worry if you get out of bed and I'm gone. I can't be concerned about whether I leave the premises or not. I didn't qualify it with any further statement...just left it matter of fact. I may do it in a few minutes. This bird's gotta fly!

I'm certainly not going to search for it. We may *be* parasites. (Just for one day.)

What is the acceptable number of vinyl albums to have which you haven't listened to yet before buying a new one (or perhaps percentage)? Opinions?

@Mr. P, I have a fairly decent stack of unread gaming (D&D-like) material here, and more coming. Same with books. My feeling: at some point relatively soon, industrial capitalism is going down the tubes and won't be able to deliver this stuff to my door any longer. When that happens, I'd like to have some good reading material and some ways to provide some fun for people. That is, get it in while you can. Tomorrow LITERALLY never knows.
