And a cheerful New Year to all of the failures. When Frankie came on I was coincidentally reading an article from my hometown about a domestic violence mass murder that happened over the last week.

Last time i truly enjoyed eggnog was when i was about 18 (that was 1877)...my father used to make it. 3 gallon recipe had something like 2-1/2 quarts (3-1/2?) bourbon,a pint of scotch & a pint of dark red rum. Then it aged for 3 weeks. It was delicious and mellow; and,at 10-12 years old,i remember it sneaking up on me.

@coel: a very elaborate version of *moose milk*, but by God, no matter what its age, that shit will get on top of you with no warning---like hitting a moose in the middle of the highway at 100kph, and having it land in the front seat with you. Everything's fine, then nothing but bloody mayhem.
