Hi, I'm french, and I wanted to thank you guys from all the over the world for your support and attention ! I must admit I didn't really like much Charlie Hebdo originally for various reasons, but I am shocked and saddened that they died just for writing and drawing their opinions... Anyway, thank you for the good music and support (and btw, that jac berrocal's stuff was quite nice) !

(I don't think Danielewski really wanted people to read House of Leaves, though, so I don't feel bad for abandoning it. "Great Fire of London" and "The Man Without Qualities" really demand to be read, though. One of these days...)

@Fuzzy - it's the same for me. I'm trying to develop a practice of reading again, and I find the type of slow, deep reading that I used to do has been replaced by a quick-skim reflex from only reading the internets the last couple of years. I find myself re-reading paragraphs frequently.

it's also a function of age, I'm sorry to say.

My ADD has gotten so bad that I can't remember the last time I read a non graphic design, non-biography or Shopaholic (shut up) book all the way through. I just try to glean what I can and keep at it, but it usually doesn't end that well.
