Jim Price:

I guess it's just you and me pal. Everyone's gone to the beach.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:08pm
Scott Williams:

Hi Jim. Here, let me get that for you.
Avatar 3:08pm

ahhhhh this *infamous* flip-side of "Seasons in the Sun"!!!!
i HATED that song when it came out and was such a huge freakin' hit! NOW i am kicking myself for not buying the 45 -- it would have been soooooo WORTH IT!!!
THANK YOU SCOTT!!! Happy Labor Day to you and all you WFMU listeners out there!
Avatar 3:09pm

nope, i am home -- doing the EVIL LAUNDRY and other assorted boring household chores -- LABOR!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:10pm

Nah, @Jim Price, I'm here too. I already went to Brighton on Sat., and the beach is friggin' boring if I'm not there with a girl. But Brighton Beach is great for weird Russian grocery steam tables with amazing eggplant dishes, I'll tell ya that.
Yair yona:

Hi everybody

Scott Williams:

Hey Jim, lookit all these pals! Welcome good friends Yair (miss you!), Ike and slugluv; here, let me get that for you.
Avatar 3:14pm

staying home and cleaning and listening to the radio is my version of going to the beach. also supposedly someone is bringing me a cannoli in 20 minutes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:16pm
Scott Williams:

"supposedly someone is bringing me a cannoli", I just loves looking at those words, Steve!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:19pm

Cannoli always look like brilliant poetry, but always taste clonky to me. Ricotta is not for dessert, dammit!

"supposedly someone is bringing me a cannoli." Truer words were never spoken.
Taylor not so swift:

I just smoked a joint and now it feels like I'm wearing a gazebo.
Yair yona:

This is such a killer track
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:28pm
Scott Williams:

@Yair - yep, that's exactly why I started it, um, 3 times
Yair yona:

I'd give it a fourth time, a surprise towards the end of the show . Just coz it's brilliant

good day scott!

Hiya Bloopy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:45pm
Scott Williams:

Hiya Bob! You should reserve that comment for the next track
Taylor not so swift:

Boots n pants n boots n pants
adrian in mpls:

Wow, another one of those very special 45s
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:03pm

Aw, dang, I like that "other stuff."

That said, this Home is a classic.
Glenn L:

Opus 3, now this... can radio get any better?!

ahh back to this radio goodness.

turns out it was a cupcake, not a cannoli. but damn it was good.

Oh, good Steve! glad that worked out. No one should be promised a cannoli and not get at least a cupcake.

@ DJ Scott: Great show today, by the way. Thanks for coming in on a holiday to spin for us, mucho appreciado.

“also supposedly someone is bringing me a cannoli in 20 minutes.” So he left the gun and took the cannoli.

One ALWAYS leaves the gun and takes the cannoli. That's the rules.

You're my hero Scott. You found and gave me back my iPhone at the Record Fair.

Time to make the doughnuts.

Avatar 5:23pm

thanks! now i no longer think i'm crazy for thinking that courtney barnett song bore a sort of familial resemblance to 'moby octopad'.
Avatar 5:27pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...which reminds me of 'Vacuum Cleaner' by Tinturn Abbey - but now we are far afield...
Avatar 5:34pm
Chris from DC:

Yay, Container
Avatar 5:43pm

Enough with the chit chit chits already.
Taylor not so swift:

This song sounds like what music would sound like if you had a severe head injury.
Avatar 5:45pm

Or just plain retarded.

Scott! Sheez, I forgot it was Monday.

She said..."I know what 'it's like to be 'death', warmed over!!!...LOL...:)O(:...
