Shirley Temple was - really good ! - esp. for - a gawdam toddler ! - & supercute w/out being the least bit revolting (to me). *&* she's on the Sgt. Pepper cover no less than *three* times Beatlemaniacs. Seriously wonder what adolescence was like for her - never heard any stories - but she seems indeed to have become a successful adult...
Avatar Wed. 2/12/14 12:33pm Carmichael:

Don't forget the theme to the awful movie Sharknado.

My grandmother was the head of the AKC of WV. My father hated cleaning up after the dogs (she did short-haired miniature dachshunds) that it was impossible for me to get a dog until I was 10. Needless to say, i can only remember going to one dog show, as my father hated it.

Hanks Saloon was my after-work pub when I was working at Metro Tech Plaza. I love that place. I also loved it when they had Sunday night bbqs there 10 years ago, when a friend of mine used to play in the weekly country band there. I'd stop by after djing at Halcyon on Smith St.

Mudhoney is now Classic Rock (or whatever monicker we want to give it).

DD/ White Lines. Very odd, but fairly good. The hook almost sounds like an Al Jourgensen/Ministry thing, for a moment.

Avatar Wed. 2/12/14 1:21pm listener james from westwood:

@rev: massive and detailed. haven't read the ted morgan bio, so not sure how much that one drew on the ginsberg/burroughs correspondence, but this one uses that info to fill in a lot of gaps, esp. in tangier and mexico.

- Thx g !
- Thx lj !
Avatar Wed. 2/12/14 1:21pm listener james from westwood:

in duran duran's heyday, how much coke DIDN'T they have access to?
Avatar Wed. 2/12/14 1:22pm Amanda:

RR, do you suggest that Duran Duran's interest in this song may have been kind of a "Born in the USA" misinterpretation?
Avatar Wed. 2/12/14 1:23pm Dominick:

Such a great track!
Avatar Wed. 2/12/14 1:25pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
