They make USB CD drives, but I've also noticed the days of physical media are numbered. Streaming is more convenient and gives more control to content owners. Done deal.
I sincerely doubt there will be nostalgia over CD the way there is over vinyl. Digging through CDs sounds more absurd than digging through "vinyls".
