I often look up artists I don't know on playlists while the song's playing. Material started as a would-be progrock project and evolved into urban music in the early 80s. I was surprised to see Whitney H's name as lead singer on one of the tracks. Yep, sounded like here alright, duh!

@ Holly: Jesahel! Thank you! I have it by Ciao Fellini on the '80 Mi Da'Tanto album and as Jezahel by Shirley Bassey. I KNEW I had it somewhere both in Italian and English but couldn't remember the English song title. I could kiss you. That's been bugging me for days since I heard this played earlier on FMU (forget now what show).

The "Clarence White Byrds" did three dog songs. Blue, Fido, Bugler. Gene Parsons (not Gram) would later do Bugler as a tribute to Clarence.
