@KP: You should, man! Do it proud.
  2:34am
Brian en Angleterre:

Saw them at the Roundhouse in '74 playing Zigzag fanzine 5thbirthday concert. John Stewart, Mike Nesmith, Man. You get the drift. Dare I say they were the English Band. Alright no one could sing like Danko or Manuel but they could just whistle thru songs in the same manner. They also had a great sense of fun, which as you know is priceless. Their first album is basically Martyn & Phil.
  2:35am
T-Zero:

Tim McGraw on Please Remember Me with Phil Vassar
  2:35am
Brian en Angleterre:

You could tell how good they were from where they went after the band broke up. Costello, Residents etc.
Avatar 2:38am

Really jealous, Brian! Would've loved to see a bill like that! Wasn't Pete Thomas in Chilli Willi?
  2:40am

Talking about pub rock, it occurred to me other day Brinsley Schwarz came out when i was high school. That was, as the song goes, a long, long time ago.
  2:41am
Brian en Angleterre:

Yea, he sat in with John Stewart who only brought over Arnie Moore on bass. John liked him so much thst he went to the US to tour with him soon after. Later he formed the Attractions.
  2:42am
T-Zero:

Or is Tim McGraw (Phil Vasar) something totally different from Ernie Graham?

  2:50am
Brian en Angleterre:

Yea, north of UK has already had plenty, we in the south had some last night. Main roads look clear. There can be up to 11C temp change from one day to the next. Wacky.
  2:51am
Brian en Angleterre:

Who is playing the guitar on this Mac track, Joe?
Avatar 2:52am
Joe McG:

Either Bob Welch or Danny Kirwan. I'm guessing Bob, but don't quote me!
