I don't know what all this hubbub is about the Superbowl.

I detest basketball.
Avatar Sun. 2/5/12 7:26pm monica:

caribou - so many balls, so little time...
  Sun. 2/5/12 7:28pm Fudgie Dellamoor:

Caribou, you lying slut...you love it when balls are in your face.
  Sun. 2/5/12 7:31pm G:

I'm too much of a multitasker to sit staring at a TV for 4 hours. I just have an nfl.com tab open in my bropwser, and I hit refresh on it every 10-15 minutes. The only important score in any game is really the final score. If it's close, I might break down and watch the last five minutes.
  Sun. 2/5/12 7:35pm G:

wikipedia: "The dish radically gained prominence nationally after the Buffalo Bills' four consecutive appearances in the Super Bowl from 1990-1993 focused considerable media attention to the area for an extended period of time, giving Buffalo cuisine significant nationwide exposure."
  Sun. 2/5/12 7:37pm texas scott:

i heart the sam spence stuff!
  Sun. 2/5/12 7:38pm Kevin G:

  Sun. 2/5/12 7:38pm annie:

  Sun. 2/5/12 7:40pm anne:

lotsa craigslist experiences in seattle, nyc and chicago. all pretty good, nothing extraordinary. sold a car, snowboard, drums, bought furniture, skis, guitar, found apartments. what's funny is meeting at some public place with a wad of cash and trying to look for someone who looks like they're looking for you too. that or going to people's apartments for some item.
  Sun. 2/5/12 7:40pm trsh:

I was going to say try kijiji.ca, but I see now it's not nearly as functional for U.S. cities.

  Sun. 2/5/12 7:49pm ronnie:

About three blocks from where I live in the mean streets of Baltimore, last month there was a rash of craiglist related crimes.
Ads would appear offering a case of 12 iPads for $1200 (they fell off a truck or something)
Buyers would answer and were told to bring cash to an address of a row house on a dead end street.
Buyers would show up and ring the doorbell and before the little old lady who lived in the house (who knew nothing about it) could answer, a guy with a gun in a car in front would mug them and speed away. They successfully pulled it off three times.
Avatar Sun. 2/5/12 7:56pm monica:

ronnie - you've reassured me. what a tale! oy... nothing like a bogus ipad to bring out the worst in folks...
  Sun. 2/5/12 7:58pm dave:

belated shameful confession: i had NO IDEA "sing sing sing" was a lois prima tune until joe mcgasko mentioned it on his show last night. i always (and probably will always) associated it with benny goodman.
  Sun. 2/5/12 7:58pm texas scott:

madge is about to approach the stage.
  Sun. 2/5/12 8:00pm gail:

@ dave: I prefer Mr Prima's version
  Sun. 2/5/12 8:00pm dave:

oy, lois prima? maybe that's louis's niece.
  Sun. 2/5/12 8:02pm dave:

i dunno, i loves me some louis prima, but benny really clobbered that song.
  Sun. 2/5/12 8:02pm Detroit Mac:

Some straight Nino Rota would be nice. Piero Piccioni would be better?
  Sun. 2/5/12 8:05pm Detroit Mac:

Miriam, the original drummer of the Cramps has a great blog, where she talks of her history then:

  Sun. 2/5/12 8:17pm texas scott:

gershwin beats any sporting non-event.

  Sun. 2/5/12 8:17pm G:

Avatar Sun. 2/5/12 8:21pm monica:

  Sun. 2/5/12 8:23pm G:
