Mike Sin:
WFMU is in the midst of a "silent" fundraiser! Between some leakage caused by Hurricane Irene and some other mechanical damage to the station's headquarters, WFMU is trying to close a budget gap. You won't hear me pitching during this fill-in for the lovely Therese, but please do donate if you can and help WFMU meet its goal! It's easy -- Just use the "widget" form at the top of this page to make a pledge. Thanks!

stuart:
btw - the first Procol Harum album was originally available only in mono (and that horrible "re-processed for stereo" nonsense that was all trebly on one side amd muddy bass on the other). Otherwise, I loved the show, and the commentary during the breaks. "An incredible simulation" indeed.

This is your "foreign" language coach: A garage sale in Britain is called a jumble sale. Accent for the back announcement of "Les lutins" was parfait!
