  Sat. 8/20/11 3:09pm efd:

Prairie Prince is criminally overlooked in most discussions of great rock drummers.
  Sat. 8/20/11 3:16pm pygmy delyte:

  Sat. 8/20/11 3:39pm Marmalade Kitty:

Hi Mike, good to hear you!
  Sat. 8/20/11 3:40pm pygmy delyte:

aha, sorted things out.. my lp-player broke down years ago, havent heard it since. First album called The tubes, with White punks on it? (doing it oldschool, cant be bothered to Goog)
  Sat. 8/20/11 3:42pm Marmalade Kitty:

I've got a feeling we're going to be spoiled rotten with tunes tonight..
  Sat. 8/20/11 3:51pm hamburger:

I agree with MK - holy sheet that Ivan Julian was amazing
  Sat. 8/20/11 3:52pm tomB:

Wait, we're still on the 1st tune.... Tubes perform @BB King's, NYC 8/22. As I understand it, Trey Sabattini is filling in for Prairie Prince. But Prince is otherwise still active w The Tubes. PS @hamburger, Prairie Prince has performed w your namesake, Neil.
  Sat. 8/20/11 3:55pm nick k:

  Sat. 8/20/11 3:56pm fred:

Don't sulk it if didn't go your way Cori, it should have. I hope you're out partying instead, but I'll be sulking for you otherwise. Until Keili's show that is, no sulking for me during her show

  Sat. 8/20/11 4:01pm hamburger:

woa, from wikipedia about Neil Hamburger: In August 2010, Hamburger appeared on the Alternative Stage at the Reading Music Festival in the UK, where his entire set was booed and derided by the capacity crowd, with chants of "You're shit and you know you are!". As the set progressed bottles and other projectiles were hurled at Hamburger, before he was finally shouted off.
  Sat. 8/20/11 4:02pm nick k:

  Sat. 8/20/11 4:36pm (mta) Tony:

Sorry, I tuned in late and missed the beginning of Mike's discussion on early Seger System availability, but if it's any help, each of the "System" albums have been officially released on CD; I know, because I bought them all (Back in '72, Brand New Morning, Mongrel, Noah, Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, Seven, Smokin' O.P.'s, Early Vol. 1, etc.). However, they were only available in Europe. As always, I'm happy to share 'em.
  Sat. 8/20/11 4:36pm ?:

  Sat. 8/20/11 4:37pm efd:
