WFMU's broadcast of Sonic Youth live at Battery Park in NYC on July 4, 2008. This show was part of the station's 50th Anniversary Free Music Series, with the station providing special support to River To River (the show's chief producer). The Feelies opened. Finally got around to capturing this audio stream and separting the tracks, and saved as a WAV file so I can play on my regular cd player. I listened live as it was happening this past summer, but this archive is MUCH better quality. Thank you !! I wonder though, what bitrate is the stream ? I saw them in Brooklyn at the July 28, 2007 McCarren Pool show....my favorite band !!! They seem to play NYC better than anywhere else....I wonder why ? LOL | |
