upper 80s four feet away outside the window; am in one small room with one bigass old 1991 a/c running, doing online assignment grading -- playlist online, room filled with sound -- i am way too cuious and impatient to wait for backannounces every half hour if i want to know what something is that i don't recognize -- hell, sometimes i can barely wait for the playlist to refresh ...
Tue. 6/10/08 9:09pm Dan in Falls Church, VA:

That track from The Tempters was just awesome!

Thunderstorm here (just East of Washington DC) as well...

Really enjoying the show, many thx....
Tue. 6/10/08 9:12pm dave from knoxville:

I knew this couldn't be a John Cash original. My dad argued otherwise
  Tue. 6/10/08 9:17pm mark:

There's rain coming down in Mount Olive (about 40 min west of JC). What a day - the heat, then PATH goes out of order, now thunder and lightning. It's gotten pretty cool now that it's raining, tho. AC not necessary.

A little belated, but I really liked the Perez Prado track.
  Tue. 6/10/08 9:24pm HotRod:

Rupture sure knows how to pick 'em!
  Tue. 6/10/08 9:29pm HotRod:

Pls play something thunderous in honor of this weather.

  Wed. 6/11/08 3:40pm dan:

Hi Monica.
Always looking forward to your show for the variety of music you play. For me, It's the 40's 50's & early 60's lesser known tunes that really were hits.
You probably don't do requests but i'd sure like to hear the very big hit "teach me tonight" by the Decastro Sisters. :) & on the 04/14/04 show the wrong song plays for "the small lady with a big voice", Timi Yuro. I would love to hear "what's a matter baby" that's listed on there.

Thank you for the music.

Dan :)
