Reporting from Florida, great selection this morning! Nothing like a little Walker loud to bust up the daylight cobwebs!
  10:16am

  10:38am

  10:40am
Cecile:

Jumping in late, but this Future kind track is great.
  10:51am
Andrew:

Late starter. Just got the Catherine Ribeiro + 2 Bis album from '68 a few weeks ago and it's amazing. Seek it out- primitive pastoral psych beauty.
  10:58am
Carmichael:

Good morning Hatch and bloggers. Nice playlist; I see I missed Scott Walker, which is par for the course for me. Restitution seems to be "ridin' the storm out".

Cool ...
  11:00am

The Chords! Nice one!
  11:01am

Cecile:

We sure do! The first 3 albums, and parts of the last one are great.
  11:15am
proplox:

Hatch, got to love this. Although been nothing but quality, quality selections with Walker, Jamul, Yahowa, looks like its always New Wave that gets the board jumping....
  11:15am
Hatch:

  11:16am
Sasa:

  11:19am

  11:23am
?:

those tickets are for friday or saturday?
  11:24am
Sasa:

Carmichael, any news about Undertones?
  11:24am
Hatch:

Friday, and they're gone.
  11:29am
Carmichael:

Sadly, it seems they're not gonna get back together. Feargal's gone his own way, and the O'Neills have lots of projects and That Petrol Emotion.

Look for the documentary "Teenage Kicks". It's a wonderful look (back) at them and the time.
  11:31am
Cecile:

I will, carmichael. thank for the tip!
  11:31am
Sasa:

For sure.
They are gods in Skopje, too.

  11:32am
Cecile:

I gotta say, though, that the hippie I'd-like-to-teach-the-world-to-sing pop isn't quite my cup of tea (or can of Coke), but more power to ya, Hatch!
  11:33am
Carmichael:

Their new album should be called, "Gods in Skopje"!!!
  11:34am
Cecile:

That will be the name of my Undertones tribute band. If I ever get around to forming it.
  11:42am
Hatch:

This one's for you, Cecile...
  11:44am
Hatch:

Also, for Ike and Irwin. The whole set is dedicated to them, really.
  11:47am
Cecile:

Agh, I missed it. Had to go get the mail. I'll check it out on archives
  11:57am
ross:

cool, i didn't want to hear any Klaus Dinger anyway....
  12:01pm
ross:

cool...just playin' man...

i'll tune in next week though...
  12:01pm
