portland would be like baltamore, if it was only 70,000 people, with less hard drugs, less murders, and alot colder. there is a crazy hippy space music scene here, but not so heavy on the guitars, more about the feedback and folk music. alot of brooklyn transplants, art students, artists, rock music hipsters, and old hippys.... portland is a cool town, come up for a vist some time.
