Live Performance by Phonograph |
||||
|
Combining a stripped down alt-country sound with a tinge of psychedelia, Phongraph has been catching a lot of ears from their Brooklyn base. They call their sound a kind of "50's inspired folk and country." In the band are Matt Welsh (keys, guitar, sound and soul), John Davis (bass, mono synth), Dave Burnett (percussion), Abe Seiferth (guitar) and Phil Sterk (pedal steel, keyboards, guitars). Phonograph's most recend self-titled album is out on the Arclight label, with a new one due out this autumn, and they came up to play at WFMU. |
