Reddits and subreddits would form (if they are not there already). Conspiracy theories would proliferate. Seriously, the board is a form of communication which serves many purposes, especially during this extended pandemic era. And WFMU is so altruistic, anyway!

I am aware of the deactivation during the show and the purpose of the action. Although I wanted to read the comments and chime in, the ability to do the show and moderate the board might not have been possible. Love WFMU and its history and glad to have been a minor part of it.
Communication boards were a part of my graduate thesis and I am fascinated. My academic fascination does not prevent me from posting, however.

Hey, Boods, thanks! I'm not a recording artist, so the technological aspect was a steep curve, at first, but then Clay told me i could just record it on my phone as a voice memo, and—now it's just finding a song to feature, researching it and writing a silly sketch. The recording takes only a few minutes now. Then Clay waves his magic wand over it. Super fun!
