Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:43pm David Dichelle:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:52pm redkayak:

@TDK - I hear you...the next few months will the world a lot about this country and her citizens....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:53pm redkayak:

....I'm hopeful though. We'll see if that hope is misplaced?
Avatar 3:57pm TDK60:

redkayak: I'm hopeful too, because a young generation is fired up. But I know there will be reaction. We just have to keep up the fight. (George Floyd funeral today in Houston.) I'm not going anywhere tho I'd like to. I have friends staying in Norway, would be nice....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:58pm David Dichelle:

Hope is absolutely essential.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm redkayak:

@TDK - It's not as if there's anywhere else to "go" either.....

Last week both my wife and I attended some local protests, and it was gratifying to see the # of young people leading the charge. To that end, there is some hope - essential as @David observed!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01pm Otis Fodder:

Hi David... just hopping on the Subway for another early evening excursion.
Avatar 4:01pm Listening Out There:

Greetings, hopeful people...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08pm redkayak:

@TDK - Well done!
Avatar 4:12pm TDK60:

Yes, June Tabor has quite a voice, for that English and Celt folk.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:15pm David Dichelle:

It does indeed, Otis!

Avatar 4:33pm monkeyz:

Thanks David, when I'm back in Leipzig I'll finally pay my dues aka visiting Radio Blau.
Avatar 4:33pm Sem:

This sounds like a Cape Breton kitchen party around midnight. Look out, the unlabeled Mason jars filled with clear liquid will be along shortly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:35pm David Dichelle:

Monkeyz, how has your pub project managed the crisis?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:36pm David Dichelle:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:41pm David Dichelle:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:41pm David Dichelle:

Sorry to hear that, Monkeyz.
Avatar 4:41pm Sem:

Glass or intravenous stand, Stanley? The guest is always right.
Avatar 4:42pm monkeyz:

Oh, as someone sung to a reggae riddim, if one door closes, another will open.
Avatar 4:43pm Sem:

Bas NL: I could write "jenever" on the label, if you like.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:43pm Michael 98145:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44pm Bas NL:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:54pm Bas NL:

All together now!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:55pm Michael 98145:

aye!
Avatar 4:56pm Brian in UK:

David, did Colin Bass aka Sabah Habas Mustapha produce this Daniel Kahn?
  5:01pm Mark R.:

Speaking of clear liquids, one time I attended a Greek festival and they were serving ouzo in plastic cups and the ouzo was causing the plastic to decompose. Did we consume tiny little pieces of decomposed plastic along with our alcohol? Indeed, but not too many, because we drank it down shortly after it was poured. Still, though...insist on glass, if you have a choice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:02pm Stanley:

...or an intravenous stand, if offered.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:02pm Michael 98145:

Whoa - must've been compostable cups??
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:06pm Bas NL:

Interesting. I'm inclined to do an in-depth study into ouzo affecting plastics now, Mark R.
  5:07pm Ren:

Dave, please stop talking, and get back to the tunes
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:10pm Bas NL:

Close Encounters springs to mind..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11pm David Dichelle:

Brian: It says produced by Thomas Stern
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:11pm David Dichelle:

Hey Mark, that does sound somewhat unhealthy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:12pm David Dichelle:

Sousa heads to Devil's Tower?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:14pm Bas NL:

Yes! ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:33pm Carmichael:

I did not know Colin Bass was involved with 3 Mustaphas 3. I'm a huge Camel fan.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:36pm David Dichelle:

I really need to play more 3 Mustaphas 3, had their cassettes when cassettes were.
Avatar 5:37pm Malcolm:

Avatar 5:41pm TDK60:

Holding out here David, about 600 cassettes left..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:42pm David Dichelle:

Well done, TDK, I have a couple left, maybe, somewhere...
  5:44pm Mark R.:

Well, that was about 40 years ago and I'm still standing, David. Mind you, it was a one-time thing, not a daily practice. I know we have some 3 Mustaphas 3 CDs in our library at 43 Montgomery St., David, but that's a bit of a hike for you. They also have a few of their albums on Spotify.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:46pm David Dichelle:

Mark, maybe it was the good kind of plastic after all! I do have some Mustaphas I could play - next time perhaps...
Avatar 5:51pm TDK60:

Danke David. Thanks for the Iranians, Swedes, Russians, Angles, Braxtons.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:54pm David Dichelle:

My pleasure, TDK!
