Favoriting June 5, 2020: FDL273 - 52 weeks (1)

In 2004 I did a "sharity"- project with quite a few fellow curators called "52 weeks". It was meant as a slightly more modest follow up to 365 days. The idea was to share music that was either out of print, not been available in 'real record stores', previously unreleased for a bigger audience than family and friends, etc, etc.... A.o. we shared recordings of (school) bands we had played in.

In 2013 I took down the website. A few years ago, I regretted that, but it turned out I hadn't properly backed it up. Reconstructing the old site is not something I would enjoy doing, so I'm sharing the music here, with some additions, updates and so on.

If you like this it might be worth checking this page again later, for I WILL be adding bits and piece of the old info into in the playlist over time.

Hi Karen, welcome!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:21pm
Listener Bob in PGH:

Yes, it's a linguistic corruption. Deutsche (for the Swiss German Amish people) eventually became "dutch". Very confusing when you're a kid. Sort of like Austrian and Australian.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm
Jan Turkenburg:

No, I just earlier that I took it offline in 2013 and didn't back it up properly. I tried once or twice to reconstruct it, but it is too much work, so I revisit it this way
  2:57pm
Martinibomb:

I don't know why I didn't contribute to 365 - I think I must have just been super busy with work back then
