Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Avatar 12:11pm Martinibomb:

Never get tired of claudine nope nope nope
Avatar 12:12pm Listening Out There:

Wikipedia: Born in Paris, France, Longet was married to American singer and television entertainer Andy Williams from 1961 until 1975. She has maintained a private profile since 1977, following her conviction for negligent homicide in connection with the death of her boyfriend, former Olympic skier Spider Sabich.
Avatar 12:12pm Listening Out There:

The rest of us lead such boring lives...
Avatar 12:12pm Franco Twinkie:

Oh Michael, That song! When I was in high school I took this girl to see Dan Hicks. She had taken some acid before we left home, and she spent the entire set with a death grip on my arm and her face buried into my jacket quaking in fear. I on the other hand was beside myself because The Hot Licks were so good! We laughed about it for years.

This is pretty much the antithesis of the Louvins -- picturing sinners on the dance floor

Oddly, tho I'm unemployed, I'm busier than before, looking into unemployment, jobs, social security, etc. (Bureaucracies are slowed down due to heavy use.) Plus, more family and old friends are emailing, calling. Then there are the stay-safe protocols of living in an apt. building. Etc!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:53pm Hopey Sockmonkey:

I think I still have my Beatles and Xmas Chipmunk albums!
