I miss my Delia Derbyshire poster....:(
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:07pm chresti:

I was running and running to the horse that was lost at Scott's house..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:11pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I've got the main stream and the Drummer stream going at once. Drone wars!
Avatar 9:15pm coelacanth∅:

greetings Scott and doubly horseless people
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:19pm Scott Williams:

Hey pals! Thanks for being here. 2nd set will start with Can performing live in '75 with TIM HARDIN as their singer! I didn't believe it either. It is so.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:25pm doctorjazz:

Sounded a bit like Eddie Lang on guitaron the Gene Austin track (not able to confirm on a quick search on the internets).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:26pm Scott Williams:

@doctorjazz, Otto "Coco" Heimel was the cat on the date
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:29pm doctorjazz:

Thanks, Scott (had Lang's edgy acoustic guitar tone, but not his odd timing, makes sense)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:32pm ParUbi of Pittsburgh:

Hi Scott & All!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm chresti:

This reminds me of Walk on the Wild Side
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:35pm Scott Williams:

Hola ParUbi!
  9:45pm slawooy:

A pair of Yugoslavian ears listening
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:49pm ParUbi:

Something oozing through cracks in time!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:50pm chresti:

Oh boy!
Avatar 9:54pm Franco Twinkie:

This is like ketchup on ice cream.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:56pm Scott Williams:

@Franco Twinkie, Can agreed with you - 2 gigs and Hardin was out... for a variety of reasons
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:58pm ParUbi:

Maybe H isn't the best basis for a relationship after all...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:09pm chresti:

Holy moly
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:10pm Scott Williams:

Thank ye, chresti
  10:11pm Doug Schulkind:

Great Scott!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:14pm Scott Williams:

Hello, Brother Doug! Thank you - your dedication track is coming quite soon
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20pm chresti:

So, in a way, Can was looking for their horse
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:23pm ParUbi:

Tim Hardin was a little *too* hoarse
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24pm chresti:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:24pm ParUbi:

Wait, the title of this track seems familiar somehow...
  10:24pm Doug Schulkind:

Grateful Deadication.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:25pm chresti:

That's for Doug!
  10:28pm Doug Schulkind:

Love me some Jaki!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:32pm ParUbi:

That was one long film.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:33pm Webhamster Henry:

You know what bugged me about UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD? He heard about 10 seconds of the Deep Forest Pygmy tune and proclaimed it the most beautiful thing ever.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:37pm Ike:

Cool beans.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:39pm ParUbi:

It takes *way* more than ten seconds to realize that!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:40pm Scott Williams:

Henry, that always drives me nuts in tha muuvies! "the most beautiful thing I've ever seen", UGGH
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:40pm Scott Williams:

Sup Ike?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41pm chresti:

Give the guitarist some
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42pm ParUbi:

Well, that "Gabon : Pygmées Bibayak - Pygmies Epic Cantors" album *is* pretty keen. Just don't make it dance music.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43pm chresti:

i have not seen the movie
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47pm chresti:

Thanks for filling in for the horse show, Scott, goodnight everyone!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:47pm Scott Williams:

Oh btw, Eric Clapton played with Hawkwind last week. I'm not playing it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:48pm Scott Williams:

g'night chresti! Thanks for hanging
Avatar 10:49pm northguineahills:

@ParUbi: I'm dancing to Ignatz right now, does that make it dance music?

All I remember about Deep Forest is my college gf listened to them....
Avatar 10:50pm coelacanth∅:

when i first heard the "deep forest pygmy tune" c.1992 i was enamored by it within 10 seconds. got the album and loved the whole thing first time and for a few years.
i listened to it a couple of years ago and couldn't seem to get past the cheesy synthesisers.
Avatar 10:51pm coelacanth∅:

gnight chresti
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:51pm ParUbi:

Now I'm inadvertently repeating the error by playing music of the Aka people at the same time as this show
Avatar 10:52pm northguineahills:

I have a different release of Knott's Berry Farm Molly.

(chilliest E around!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:52pm ParUbi:

all sounds can be danced to, ngh! i had that on tape too, coel. I thankfully lost it, but remember playing it a good number of times
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:53pm ParUbi:

good night, chresti!
Avatar 10:59pm coelacanth∅:

right ParUbi, cassette also... it was a favorite in the natural foods store where i worked at the time. probably 1-2x/week for a couple of years
Avatar 11:06pm Franco Twinkie:

It gives me pleasure to think of John Fahey at Knott's Berry Farm, which is such a dopey kind of place. But probably when he recorded that, it still had some of it's rustic charm, at least the Frito-Lay mine train.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:10pm JtotheK:

Digging the tunes, and really like 'The Wind'. Good evening Mr. Williams, hi everyone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11pm ParUbi:

@Coel-- I wonder how much money the Baka people (etc.) got from their success
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11pm Scott Williams:

G'd'evenin' JtotheK! It's a doozy, innit?
Avatar 11:24pm coelacanth∅:

good question ParUbi
Avatar 11:44pm Franco Twinkie:

I heard that one time Neil Young invited himself onto the stage while Spirit was playing - you know, neighbors in Topanga Canyon, and Randy California threw him right off! I guess Neil thought he was in San Francisco.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:49pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks for the cyber-tunes tonght, Scott. See ya in the near future.
Avatar 11:49pm coelacanth∅:

haha Franco you think it's true?
Avatar 11:53pm Franco Twinkie:

Who the hell knows, but rock drunk rock stars, could have happened.
Avatar 11:54pm coelacanth∅:

definitely. and a reward for arrogance served up.
Avatar 11:58pm coelacanth∅:

what a closer...almost!
range life could be the closer every night.
(or the penultimate track every night)
Avatar 11:58pm Franco Twinkie:

It happened! And strangely, it was the demise of Spirit!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:58pm Scott Williams:

Nearly time to bail, my friends - thanks for being here tonight! See you on 12/23 when I fill in for Mark Hurst's Techtonic, and 12/24 I'll be in for Michele
Avatar 11:59pm coelacanth∅:

(and i think i have that great de la soul album somewhere, on cassette, too. now i know i have to drag it out for a spin)
Avatar 12:01am coelacanth∅:

it's been a pleasure Scott! Thanks!
take care folks
Avatar 12:03am Franco Twinkie:

Night Scott. Thanks for that once in a lifetime meeting of the minds with Tim Hardin and Can!
Avatar 9:02pm JakeGould:

Damn! I thought this show would be tonight. Bummer!
