I was in Germany this past week and stumbled across multiple copies of James Last 'Voodoo Party'. Didn't grab one because when am I really going to listen to that?
  3:20pm Brendan:

David Hartt’s In The Forest looks like an interesting film. I am fascinated by nature reclaiming abandoned projects. Even half finished buildings look somehow complete when plants start growing through the cracks and vines take over.
Avatar 3:22pm Chris from DC:

Digging this C. Chambers thing a lot.
  3:23pm David in London:

Evening all. Man, this John Godbert is really something. I'm trancing out here.

Fun fact of the day: Tom Scholz, of "Boston" fame, worked on creating the audio components of the Polavision system when he was a product engineer at Polaroid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:51pm tim from champaign:

@Guido - Are you thinking of Performance with Jagger on the soundtrack?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:54pm Fabio:

@Walt: He also developed the "sonar" system that was used for the Autofocus system on the Polaroid SX-70 cameras.

It was the Rolling Stones Big Moog, later purchased by tangerine dream.

(Edgar Froese: "The Rolling Stones had purchased a massive modular system from Moog in 1969** . Mick Jagger tried for a long time to produce a few particular sounds with it but had no luck and eventually wanted to sell the machine*. [...]")
