  12:10am Willcrete:

Glad I've tuned in to hear this. This rainy fall night in Illinois, brining leaves to the ground sits will with these synths.
Avatar 12:11am Geology Eric:

Morning everyone. Great start!
  12:11am Carmichael:

Yo from Sacramento, Jeff.
  12:12am willcrete:

Looks like the Inner Travels crew may have had such some such things in mind..... a quick glance at their bandcamp page for that album, describes it as : "Synthesizer meditations on the splendor of nature."
Avatar 12:14am Number Six:

Ah, Fumuo. I wonder if Jeff has anything lined up from his old group the Far East Family Band, or fellow bandmate Kitaro?
Avatar 12:16am Johnny Sal:

beautiful stuff so far...love it....evening all!
Avatar 12:16am LeClam:

that inner travels reminds me of the mort Garson album thats supposed to help your plants grow
Avatar 12:17am Jeff Conklin:

@NumberSix: Nope
Avatar 12:19am Number Six:

I'm happy with Fumio anyway. Thanks, Jeff!
Avatar 12:20am Jennifer_PNW:

So far you've played three records that I think I need in my life.
  12:23am Mike Wolf:

Bit of a Clocks vibe, this is nice.
  12:26am Carmichael:

Amazing how things sound better after a haircut.
Avatar 12:29am Jeff Conklin:

I need a haircut. Two friends offered but I value their friendships so...
  12:42am zenkoan:

This Headroom has a nice quaalude-y, Floyd-y vibe
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:45am sberger:

Evening/Morning everyone. Late to the party story of my life. Headroom is outstanding! Whole lp sound like this?
Avatar 12:46am Number Six:

@LeClam: I left out one very important film on my list - 1965's Kwaidan. Its an anthology of 4 Japanese ghost stories, one of my favorites and a truly awesome film. There's a great Criteriion edition out if you can find it.
Avatar 12:52am Jennifer_PNW:

These tracks off the Anna St. Louis release are really haunting
Avatar 12:53am Geology Eric:

Yeah, I'm weird about ordering an album off one song but feeling pretty good about getting the Anna St. Louis one about now.
Avatar 12:55am Geology Eric:

Gotta duck out earlier than planned. Super good first set so far. Will dig the rest in the morning. Night everyone!
  12:55am JB in SF:

I recommend headphones before haircuts.
tonight is special because I have the headphones!
  12:58am zenkoan:

Love GT Duo. Nick Name's been playing some of their stuff as well.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:00am sberger:

Jennifer her cassette is incredible. Every song is great.
Avatar 1:02am Jennifer_PNW:

Good to know! Thanks Sberger, I'll probably cave in and grab it very soon! I'm on a budget though, so I only allow myself to purchase two new releases a month but this might make it.
  1:06am Eric Hat:

Good to be home hearing yr programs on the waves
Avatar 1:11am Jennifer_PNW:

Oh yeah, good one. Good Bobby tune
  1:14am Agent Peter:

Barlow weren't bad at what he did. A little less ethereal than Hunter.
Avatar 1:15am Jennifer_PNW:

Agent Peter, love Barlow's car in that recent Dead doc.
Avatar 1:16am Jennifer_PNW:

It was also interesting to hear him discuss the Dead family as someone who was part of the scene but also felt like an outsider
Avatar 1:16am Jennifer_PNW:

But yeah, Hunter is also very special.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:22am I am the Upsetter:

  1:43am Mark R:

I've got your show playing for my dog at home, Jeff. Say hi to Piper on your next mic break.
  2:00am Mark R:

"Long Strange Trip" is wonderful--much more than music, it's an excellent document of a unique slice of American culture.
  2:17am J Dream:

Super late tonight, but this sounds great m. Will catch the rest in the archives
Avatar 2:56am Jeff Conklin:

Thanks, everybody, be well
