Avatar 6:04pm Brian in UK:

Bill's front. Hello gents.
Avatar 6:05pm Bill Mac:

Hey it's youse twos, and it's a weeknight. To what do I owe the pleasure?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:07pm Stanley:

Brian's back to front. Hey Brian
Avatar 6:08pm Brian in UK:

I saw the light on and thought it might be you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:09pm Stanley:

Thursday's the new Friday, for me, so I'm allowed to stay up a little later
Avatar 6:10pm Brian in UK:

Hey Stanley, you have the same trouble with your trousers as I do.
Avatar 6:11pm Bill Mac:

Thursday's the new Friday - I hope to be able to say that some fine day
  6:12pm V Priceless:

Happy New Year, Bill! Hey!
Avatar 6:12pm Bill Mac:

Hey ho VP! Happy new Year!
  6:14pm goat friend:

Petra Hayden, it's been forever!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16pm Stanley:

Shit Brian. You saying I have to wear trousers? It's Bill Mac's show for Gord's sake!
Avatar 6:16pm Bill Mac:

Yo.... Goat!!! Check her out making funny on The Watt from Pedro Show last week. She's great and it's great radio.
Avatar 6:17pm Sem Chumbo:

This is aces in my book. Time zone appropriate greetings, Head Zzzzzzero andall.
Avatar 6:17pm Bill Mac:

What about your buttless chaps?
  6:17pm goat friend:

whatt? Super tip, thanks pal.
Avatar 6:18pm Sem Chumbo:

...under a kilt. Seems fashionable to me.
Avatar 6:19pm Bill Mac:

The Chumbo has entered the building...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:19pm Stanley:

Doesn't take long before the cowboy fashion talk hits this message board
Avatar 6:21pm Bill Mac:

No standards here for sure. Me, I just like saying buttless chaps and chapless butts. It's the same thing!
Avatar 6:21pm Sem Chumbo:

Saw these guys a great long while ago at a university in New Brunswick, Canada. I believe substances might have consumed in conjunction with that concert.
Avatar 6:23pm Bill Mac:

The missus useta trek me out to see them every time they came to the US back in the 70s. They ended up opening up for UK last time we saw them
  6:25pm Stanley:

What the whole country? That's impressive
Avatar 6:26pm Bill Mac:

Yes, the WHOLE goddang country!
Avatar 6:28pm Brian in UK:

Pangloss in Voltaire's Candide had a buttock shot off. Just saying.
Avatar 6:29pm Sem Chumbo:

Better than going off half-cocked, surely.
Avatar 6:31pm Brian in UK:

Hello Sem
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:32pm Stanley:

Brian, wasn't it Cunegonde who had to give up her buttock to be eaten by her captors? It's been a while since I last read that wonderful book.
Avatar 6:33pm Sem Chumbo:

Hello, Brian. You're looking well.
Avatar 6:34pm Bill Mac:

You guys are making me hungry...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:34pm Stanley:

Sem. Good evening to you.
Avatar 6:35pm Brian in UK:

Sem, that iguana crème is working then.

Stanley. It has been a long time. Oops.
Avatar 6:36pm Sem Chumbo:

Avatar 6:38pm Sem Chumbo:

Ahhhh, Brian. Creaming an iguana is so worth it, looks-wise.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm Stanley:

Whatever happened to those little fish that used to nibble your feet at the shopping centre? I kinda miss them
Avatar 6:40pm Sem Chumbo:

Toe-main poisoning?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:41pm Ken From Hyde Park:

I remember Hee Haw from way back when. Grandpa Jones cleaning a window that had no glass in it. "Hey Grandpa, what's for supper?" Then he'd answer them with a list of possum-related food items.
Avatar 6:43pm Brian in UK:

I saw one of those Peruvian pipes coagulations with backing tracks recently.Thought they were extinct.
  6:45pm goat friend:

Waa! Mike watt has a wfmu show? Good idea.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm Stanley:

They orbit the earth and you see them when they pass every seven years
  6:46pm V Priceless:

Yay Procol!
Avatar 6:47pm ndbob:

evening Bill and everyone!
Avatar 6:49pm Bill Mac:

Avatar 6:50pm Brian in UK:

Bill, you ever play Cochise?

Hello ndbob. How' s the temperature?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm Stanley:

Horslips? Procul Harem? Love the tear in the space time continuum you've headed down.
Avatar 6:53pm Bill Mac:

@Brian It's one of the groups that I remember seeing advertised on the album jackets back in the day. Never played anything by them. What do you know
Avatar 6:54pm Bill Mac:

@Stanley Over under sideways down baby!
Avatar 6:54pm ndbob:

temp is just fine:)
Avatar 6:59pm Brian in UK:

Bill, had the first album fold out, tasteful. I think that Mick Grabham played in Cochise and Procul struck a chord that he played with them.
Avatar 7:01pm Bill Mac:

I seem to remember a sepia-tone looking portrait of an Indian. Something else to track down.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:02pm Stanley:

A Beach Boys track I enjoyed. Never thought it would come to that
Avatar 7:04pm northguineahills:

I was 21 before I learned to enjoy the Beach Boys (of course, this was in the late 90s), then I found some 'polaroid-esque' photos of the Beach Boys in an LP, and my now wife put them in frames and put them on the wall.
Avatar 7:11pm ndbob:

I wasa Beach Boy fan from early on but my interest lapsed in the late 70s - came back though
Avatar 7:12pm northguineahills:

It wasn't the Mix-Up, but that instrumental album they put out around '96 "The In Sound from Way Out" that I appreciated the Beastie Boys, and had to work my way backwards.
Avatar 7:24pm Brian in UK:

A black hole opened up and I dived in. Till the next time, Bill.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:25pm Uncle Michael:

greets and salutes
Avatar 7:25pm ndbob:

hey there UM!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm Stanley:

Looks like the bottle of 'Old Nostril' is finished and a fine brew it was too, especially if you're like me and enjoy a drop of the ol' creosote. This does mean, of course, that I'm shortly heading into the Abyss. Still be listening but the loss of the use of my hands means I can only issue meaningless grunts from now on. Loved the show so far. Later, Bill
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:26pm Uncle Michael:

Hi Bob.
Avatar 7:26pm Bill Mac:

Nitey Nite Bri! Hello Unkle Mike!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm Uncle Michael:

Hi Bill.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:28pm Uncle Michael:

Whoa...did the program begin early?
Avatar 7:29pm Bill Mac:

Glad you dropped in Stan. Too bad you and Brian are exiting before my Sexton Ming/Ivor Cutler doublet.
Avatar 7:30pm Bill Mac:

@UM Yeah Doug clears it for me to start at 6. Still like doing the 3 hour grind.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33pm Uncle Michael:

Excellent...I shoulda read the email!
Avatar 7:34pm Bill Mac:

Hey man - Archives!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm melinda:

Hi everyone!
Avatar 7:37pm Bill Mac:

Hey M'linda!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:37pm melinda:

hi Bill!
Avatar 7:40pm Sem Chumbo:

Thx for the spins, Bill. Work calls.
I gotta say that I keep listening to your all-Beefheart show from 2010 with great pleasure. Obrigado.
Avatar 7:43pm ndbob:

Hi Melinda!
Avatar 7:44pm Bill Mac:

Good hearing you Sem. Expect more chance meeting through 2016..
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm melinda:

hi ndbob!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52pm melinda:

I like the French rap.
Avatar 7:54pm Bill Mac:

Avatar 7:55pm ndbob:

I'm not much of a fan of domestic rap - but international rap is often better
Avatar 7:59pm coelacanth:

howdy Bill and 00 zeros!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:01pm melinda:

Bob I agree. I think the 80s style of rapping to the beat helped too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:02pm Uncle Michael:

I've perfected the production of brown jello.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...whut - it's Zzzzzzero Hour - ?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:04pm Uncle Michael:

My favorite Mike Watt show was when he was playing with J Mascis.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:08pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Minutemen wunna them bands whut added ideas & originality to guitar-bass-drums-vocals that makes the rest of us feel like featureless oar-slappers...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:10pm Ike:

Hallo! Wow "666" wowee wow.
Avatar 8:12pm Bill Mac:

Booo! Hey Ike!
Avatar 8:15pm Bill Mac:

@RR1163 Watt/Hurley rhythm combo without peer.
Avatar 8:17pm Bill Mac:

I have a feeling this Sexton Ming tune will be running through my head nonstop for a few weeks
  8:19pm V Priceless:

Avatar 8:26pm Bill Mac:

You can thank Brian UK for introducing me to Mr Cutler properly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:37pm Uncle Michael:

What was that about Momus and Mr. Giant Man?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:38pm melinda:

I read the Spanish pronunciation of Gutaches too.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39pm Uncle Michael:

I'll relisten on the archive.I was half-hearing things wrong.
Avatar 8:40pm Bill Mac:

No worries Mike - James last did Mr Giant Man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm melinda:

This a a different-sounding Buck Owens.
Avatar 8:46pm Bill Mac:

A bit of a rock introduction for Buck.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:47pm melinda:

I liked it. There was a bit of Partridge Family theme in there.
Avatar 8:49pm Bill Mac:

Speaking of weird - this is an odd Monkees cut
Avatar 8:52pm Ham:

hey, joe!
Avatar 8:55pm Bill Mac:

Hey Ham!
  8:57pm V Priceless:

Yay Move!
Avatar 8:59pm Bill Mac:

Hey Folks, time for me to skeeeeeeeeeeeeedadddle. Hope to see you here or somewheres in the near future!
Avatar 8:59pm ndbob:

excellent show Bill!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:01pm melinda:
