his work kind of makes sense now, but it was a jarring and exciting new way of seeing at the time. So he probably went with the weirdest choice on the table.

Barrie_:

Ahhh, mea culpa. A friend of mine played this record for me when I was but a lad in the late 90s, and it properly blew my mind. One of the first "weird" pieces of music I'd heard. Still a striking piece of music.
  4:02pm
Mark R.:

I used to listen "My Life" pretty much every day the summer it came out.
  4:03pm
Dean:

...and then you read the book?
  4:04pm
Mark R.:

It's funny because I had just taken a course in African literature and we had just read the book, so I recognized the title--but near as I could tell, the title was the only similarity between the two.

Dean:

I think you're right. Nice coincidence, though!

I've had some high-protein, low-carb pasta made with amaranth flour that was very good, liked it much better than the quinoa flour pastas I've tried. Although good old Italian-style durum semolina is still the gold standard.

oh my dear
& what the artichoke is is that she refused to have sex with Zeus, so he turned her into an artichoke
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:42pm

Does that say clumped or dumped? If it's a long, thin pasta, then you should know that what long thin noodles do is stick together

don't you agree this section of 666 sounds like Magma?

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:57pm

@TDK60, because of all the gross burgeoning political dynasties nowadays. Say "Clinton" or "Bush" and how do you know who you're talking about? And "Bernie" is just fun to say.

The key to "run, run petty pat upon" could be a French children's lyric, "Ron, Ron, Petit Patapon." Not sure of the history of this contine, but it sounds quite martial.
