Diphtheria never felt so good.
  7:13pm Dean:

The Montreal label empreintes DIGITALes can do no wrong. This is superb.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15pm Daniel Blumin:

Greetings, Looms, oks, Fleep, Dr. K, Steve, cklequ & Dean! Greetz to all the lurkaz too!
  7:18pm Dean:

Curious: Will there be a WFMU Edgar Froese tribute? Any of the DJs fans?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:22pm cklequ:

20 minutes into the show, and i'm already spending cash on music from the playlist. I've got a bad feeling about this.
Avatar 7:24pm JakeGould:

How are you all doing? Hoarding okay?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:24pm redkayak:

Greetings all...
Avatar 7:25pm Looms:

@cklequ: don't worry, be happy. The real threat is trillions miles away.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:29pm steve:

the weather channel is telling me this blizzard is going to drop 3-5 inches of snow on NYC. is that really a blizzard?
Avatar 7:30pm northguineahills:

I just checked an hour ago, and it said 12-24 inches in NYC. Must be a random number algorithm acting as a meteorologist.
  7:32pm Dean:

Naw. Three inches of snow. Eight times.
Avatar 7:32pm dk:

my faith in the weather channel's meteorological capabilities has declined drastically since they turned into buzzfeed-with-blizzards and started giving silly names to every brief squall.
Avatar 7:33pm dk:

also, the sonae and don cherry pieces were all kinds of wonderful.
Avatar 7:34pm dk:

- Guten Tzag Bluminauts.
Avatar 7:38pm northguineahills:

god, the weather channel's website is nothing but click bait, it's cringe-worthy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm steve:

if you click on the 5 day forecast on the weather channel site, it says "Monday - 1-3 inches of snow". apparently you have to click on it, and open to reveal "Monday Night - 8-12 inches of snow". wtf.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm Daniel Blumin:

Wait, blizzard??? I best put on my goggles! Howdy, dk, Rev, Jake, NGHills! Apologies fer the delayed responses - fighting the scary weather prognosticators!
Avatar 7:43pm dk:

yeah, the actual WEATHER portion of the weather channel's site is the rough equivalent of the periodic time-n-temperature newsbreaks on a particularly shouty talk radio station.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm fleep:

Meteorologists often differ on their predicitons. Sometimes there are knife fights.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:44pm Jack Mello:

yo, d. i told ken i'd be on Snowmageddon watch, so might be doing a fill in over the next few days. i'm taking copious notes on the proper way to play an (excerpt).
Avatar 7:47pm dk:

i would pay good money to see a knife fight between mr. g and storm field over, say, the placement of an occluded front.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:47pm Daniel Blumin:

Ha! Yes, Mello. Copious is right!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm steve:

ooo i hope you get a copious amount of fill ins jack
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51pm Jack Mello:

sometimes i excerpt when i eat or drink too quickly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52pm Jack Mello:

thanks, steve! if they need me, i'll be there or die trying'!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:53pm Jack Mello:

but enough about me, back to discussing daniel. and excerpts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:53pm Daniel Blumin:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:14pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:16pm Daniel Blumin:

dk, I was thinkin the same thing!
Avatar 8:16pm Looms:

Time to go to sleep, thx for the good vibes Sire.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:26pm steve:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:28pm Daniel Blumin:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:38pm Daniel Blumin:

Thanks, Dr. K! New alboom, Axlotl!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:39pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Question for the Intelligentsia here: How would this show have been different w/out Edgar Froese ?
  8:42pm Dean:

Yes! My point, too. Tangerine Dream were/are pivotal. I am really sorry to hear about EF's passing.
  8:45pm Dean:

Why pivotal? Uh, sequencers? And lush shit that opened the door to New Age (gag), but also ponderous, deliberate dabbling punctuated with washes and slurs. Wish I could listen right now to Epsilon in Maylasia Pale.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45pm Jack Mello:

FYI, Vi is pronounced "Vee Eye", not "Vhy". Jus saying'
  8:50pm Ken of Brooklyn:

FANTASTIC SHOW Daniel, finally able to listen 'live' tonight!!!!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:53pm chris_in_space:

Ridiculous flow in the set Daniel. This Ryan Huber is really kickin' it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm Daniel Blumin:

Thank you, dear Ken of Brooklyn! Thanks, Chris!!! I made a mistake and reversed the artists - will correct post haste!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:59pm Andrew Waterloo:

great show Daniel.
  9:01pm Dean:

Man, thank you. Just thank you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:01pm Ike:

Damn I didn't get in here until a few minutes ago, but YOU HAD BETTER ALL STAY TUNED FOR DAN BODAH, YOU DIRTY HIPPIES. His shows is awesome. Just saying.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16pm Daniel Blumin:

Andrew, Dean, the lurker massive and you the unbridled archivist, thankses! A great snowy start of the week to all!
