The T.O.M.B. track was nice.

  10:55pm Richard from Venezuela:

Love this Black metal.
  10:55pm Martha:

Thanks for doing so!
Avatar 11:01pm coelacanth:

olá Martha; everyone.
  11:03pm Shana:

Band with no name!!
  11:04pm Martha:

Hello C.! - and technically, I suppose so - though I think that Shitfucker, as a band name, should be plural -
  11:08pm Shana:

Avatar 11:10pm bobdoesthings:

GOATSTORM! www.mhermesdesign.com...
  11:11pm Martha:

Some how I think the unpronounceable band would prefer it all in blackand white - and may be some red -
Avatar 11:11pm bobdoesthings:

Avatar 11:12pm coelacanth:

(unless only collectively they can fuck shit up.)
  11:13pm KP:

Meanwhile Martha I see you are doing great with early crowd
Avatar 11:15pm pollen:

  11:15pm Martha:

Thanks! - this whole show is a bit heavier than average I should say - recent exposure to excessive (and great) metal to blame - we'll go back to "normal" soon -
Avatar 11:17pm bobdoesthings:

I thought this was the original at first
  11:17pm Shana:

Well curated Martha ;)
  11:18pm KP:

Who were you talking to in regard to plural subjects? Work gave me strong opinions on this subject but I forget what they were. I now think singular at first for "singular" type names but plural pronouns.
  11:20pm Martha:

Avatar 11:20pm bobdoesthings:

Oh wait.. was Sonic Youth's version a cover? Hot Wire My Heart was by Crime huh.. I'm learning things
  11:21pm Martha:

And no use of the "C" word in my presence, please -
Avatar 11:22pm Marcel M:

Did not know that myself Bob. I learn too. I'm a learnja.
Avatar 11:24pm bobdoesthings:

it's cool to be smart
  11:26pm david:

Oh man, Martha, incredible show. I've never heard any of these bands and they all are blowing me away! Goatstorm Blitz was a revelation. Thanks! Keep 'em coming.
  11:27pm Martha:

I mean, I thought Shitfucker should be plural as a band name.
  11:34pm Shana:

Time to check the Chicago Manual!
  11:45pm KP:

Ah, I used to argue that in sports for names like Jazz
  11:48pm Martha:

You mean like "The New Orleans Jazzes"?
Avatar 11:50pm bobdoesthings:

If a word ends in 'z' shouldn't it be Jazzs' ? I'm no grammar nazi but I like to think I'm never wrong.
  11:52pm KP:

Shana I wonder what the manual would say. The Times went with singular throughout (I think).
Just checked the Chicago Manual online and it (they?) says (say?) breaking style and going singular is ok in this case. They did not make a specific reference to the band mentioned here.
  11:53pm Martha:

I think we should bring this instance to their attention at once.
  11:57pm Martha:

Thanks again all for checking in - see you next week -
Avatar 11:58pm bobdoesthings:

great show Martha! Thank you
Avatar 11:58pm KP:

Bye! Lot of fun, look forward to more
  11:59pm P-90:

@ Martha: Nice show! Yes, more "heavier" stuff than average, but that was your mood and it made an interesting choice to start in the new slot. Congratulations, it's a chance to be heard by some new listeners and maybe get to bed a little earlier...

@KP I thought the "Jazz" was a singular name, like The Crimson Tide" or something, not supposed to be plural? (like Tigers or Bucks or Orioles)
If plural, correct would be" Jazzes" but that looks crappy that way doesn't it?
Avatar 12:00am coelacanth:

Thanks Martha...Hopefully next week i'll arrive sooner.
