Avatar 1:55am coelacanth:

I was just talking about the c*nts (as it's written on the album i have) today, coincidentally.(doesn't come up too often) -Then we started naming as many bands we could with "offensive" names. I don't think he knew how the sound echoes in the court yard we were in! He gave many examples of how it's used in britain without much shock,& i quoted an interview with Joe Strummer. Between us we must've said it 20 times!

Unfortunately it was raining so there were no tourists to offend.
  1:57am Martha:

Sorry you weren't able to offend as many folks as possible! - but yes, used much more frequently and w/ much less offense in the UK than here (I spent a long time in Scotland) - though don't use the word fanny over there -
  1:58am Martha:

I'd LOVE to do a radio tour of the Netherlands = never been there - thanks for the good words!
  1:58am Martha:

And thanks all for bearing w/ me during the quasi-off comments period - seems to be back to "normal" again -
Avatar 2:03am coelacanth:

Ha! 'Reminds me-I dated an "aussie" in the late 90s and once we were going for a day hike;I said "wait let me get my fanny pack" She started laughing hysterically!.."Your WHAT?!".. I didn't know, and she didn't know.
  2:06am coalhard:

I had internet issues also --normal here now--I think we just got scanned BIGTIME
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:06am sinister dexter:

  2:07am Martha:

Well, there are also words like "rubber" though that isn't so bad - I realized I should leave when I started pronouncing everything w/ a heavy accent on the first syllable - like garage -
  2:08am Martha:

Thanks sinister - sorry things were odd there for a while - feeling a little out of joint but getting back in!
  2:10am genericPlacebo:

Avatar 2:12am coelacanth:

  2:19am coalhard:

  2:30am Martha:

  2:31am Martha:

Or is that just paranoia over here -
  2:52am ?:

I can see your bigboard looks like your a planning a nuclear attack on boring radio
  2:54am Martha:
