The program formerly known as The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

Listener comments!

  6:01pm G:

  6:02pm Danne D:

Love the Board, can't believe I got through.
Everybody clap!
  6:02pm Caryn:

Here's hoping the Skype connection works as well as it always did on "Oprah", and not as poorly as my Skype connection.
  6:02pm Matt from Springfield:

Everybody clap!
  6:02pm Danne D:

I have to say, I do miss the show's benediction though.
  6:02pm John McCabe in L.A.:

is anybody listening?
  6:03pm Danne D:

listening to what?
  6:03pm Matt from Springfield:

Wow, from his house? This is a house arrest-detention edition!
  6:03pm PMD:

Why is Andy at home in his masturbatorium?
  6:04pm G:

Worse than Detention! Skype detention. Coming soon to a public high school near you.
  6:04pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Greetings all!

Everybody clap!
  6:04pm hamburger:

expectations lower than usual for this show...
  6:04pm Caryn:

@PMD: look at your question! Andy... masturbatorium... duh.
  6:05pm PMD:

Gotta love children's Nyquil
  6:05pm G:

Is he wearing an ankle bracelet transmitter, to keep him from leaving the house?
  6:05pm Matt from Springfield:

Hi all you Delayers!
  6:06pm Caryn:

I think Andy hopes he'll be pestered for a pledge less if he's not physically in the same space as Ken. Being across the country feels safer for him. It certainly countered my "pick Andy's pockets for pledge money" scam.
  6:06pm hamburger:

do like these evan stories tho
  6:06pm Matt from Springfield:

Boulevard of Broken Lonely Hippie Dreams
  6:07pm John McCabe in L.A.:

Can God make a rock so big He can't lift it?
  6:07pm Danne D:

:( I am very very doubtful for making the record fair :(
  6:07pm Danne D:

Andy's excuse - knocking doors for Romney
  6:08pm Matt from Springfield:

That's not fair--Andy told his old roommate a JOKE!
  6:08pm Jeff:

I guess the kid wouldn't want to play the 5-dimension RPS, because there's no trump:

  6:08pm Danne D:

Ken would probably throw Hitchens at Andy's son.
  6:08pm Listener Julian:

Here's the thing, I've been to the record fair, and it's actually fun, but it *does* smell strongly of damp head hair.
  6:09pm Matt from Springfield:

@John McCabe: Can God make Nyquil so drowsy, He himself cannot stay awake?
  6:09pm PMD:

Will there be anything left of Ken afterwards?
  6:09pm John McCabe in L.A.:

Andy's got binders full of jokes
  6:09pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

There's a super slim chance I might make it up for the end of the record fair. Lots of things would have to align though. But still...there's a tiny glimmer of hope.
  6:10pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Andy sounds like he's being filtered through a kazoo.
  6:10pm mice:

haha L.Julian
  6:10pm Caryn:

Someone will have to have their hand on the dump button if Ken starts cussing out his mom while in Regan-mode.
  6:11pm Matt from Springfield:

Say, that's the winning idea for an Andy Breckman movie! "When the God's Away..." A group of kids manage to get God to take a very potent Nyquil like drug, allowing them and the world to be free of divine supervision! Hilarity and monstrosity ensues! Rated X45.
  6:11pm Danne D:

yet another episode where I have to real careful to not yank the headphones out of the jack in my computer...
  6:11pm Matt from Springfield:

What about Luka!?!
  6:12pm Danne D:

@M_f_S isn't that pretty much the script for Dogma?
  6:13pm Matt from Springfield:

Andy might want to check this out, speaking of sharing "tips":

The Onion: "Ex-Pedophile Shares Tips On How To Make Your Kids Less Attractive"...
  6:13pm Caryn:

@Matt: or God on Ambien, calling Satan in a stupor and ending up leaving a weird voicemail.
  6:14pm Matt from Springfield:

@Danne: That is pretty much Dogma!
Though I was imagining Andy starting it out like a kids movie, then veering into extreme content!
  6:15pm Danne D:

Is Gary in Wood-Ridge Gary The Squirrel?
  6:15pm Jeff:

Time for a silent soaking?
  6:16pm Matt from Springfield:

@Caryn: That's pretty much the Book of Revelation. John of Patmos called God for support while in prison, but God had taken Ambien but not fallen asleep yet. John took the weird call a little too seriously :)
  6:16pm hamburger:

If this fundraiser doesn't do well Ken may need to take his lawn chair balloon stunt to FELIX level!
  6:17pm Matt from Springfield:

@Danne: Definitely something wood. Though if he lives in an apartment with Vance...maybe a development with a name like "Newbridge Woods"?
  6:17pm Listener zero:

Actually, Ken and Andy have been on different computers before, when Andy did the show from home due to Beth having been very, very pregnant at the time.
6:17pm Listener John from NJ who lives in NJ:

PLEASE DON'T DO AN EXORCISM OF KEN NEXT WEEK ON "SEVEN SECOND DELAY!" Even if you don't believe in that stuff, it's still pretty creepy. At least that's my opinion.
  6:17pm Robert:

The silent fundraiser's become less & less silent as they get more desperate.
  6:18pm Caryn:

@Matt: I've been to Patmos, to the cave John wrote his stuff in. Cool place. Good spinach pies.
  6:19pm Listener zero:

September 13, 2006: The Great Google-Off
  6:20pm Matt from Springfield:

Cool, Caryn! I'd like to go to the Greek islands, that would be a good stop.
Spanakopita! :)
  6:20pm Danne D:

Is this show FCC-safe? Talking about Andy's Ping Speeds?
  6:21pm Robert:

Oh, THAT's your reason, John? I thought it was because we didn't want Ken to lose his dark side.
  6:21pm Danne D:

@Robert less silent, but not really intrusive IMO
  6:21pm Danne D:

I used to play trivia on a backgammon server and would kick ass even though I had like a 2400-baud modem :)
  6:22pm Caryn:

@Matt: they also had octopus ice cream, but I didn't try that. The tentacle used in lieu of a wafer was a turn-off. Spent most of our time near Patmos, on Samos. Closest Greek isle to Turkey, so the food is an interesting blending of cultures, and you get Turkis radio stations with groovy, catchy music to listen to.
  6:22pm Matt from Springfield:

It's impossible to be non-Googleable. The point is to associate a cover identity far away from actual and other cover identities.
  6:23pm Danne D:

Ken can we do questions from the comments board?
  6:23pm hamburger:

clicking the random article link on wikipedia just for the fun of it
  6:23pm Caryn:

"Turkish", not "Turkis", sheesh...
  6:23pm Danne D:

we can soooooooooo help Ken cheat here :)
  6:24pm Nerwin Knoblocker:

I am ungoogleable!
  6:24pm hamburger:

good test of google-fu here
  6:25pm Carmichael:

Just arrived from a shitload of meetings. Hi Kenneth, Andy and people of the planet.
  6:25pm Caryn:

@Matt: Samos also has a great nature park with a hotel where you stay in tree houses. Lots of parrots flying around all the time.
  6:26pm Matt from Springfield:

@Nerwin: Yes, as of right now (6:25 PM EDT Oct 24 2012) you are what we call a "Googlenope". But ... just wait till this playlist closes! ;)

I've found Googlenopes and specifically posted them on comment boards here to give a Google presence!
  6:26pm Jeff:

Alfred E. Smith?

  6:27pm Danne D:

Best part about that question - he wasn't a former governor when he got married. He was a future governor.

Party foul.
  6:27pm Matt from Springfield:

@hamburger: Thomas Brown (engineer) :)
@Caryn: Lot of fun stuff there, thanks!
  6:28pm Matt from Springfield:

@Danne: So Sam has to drink now!
  6:28pm Danne D:

Here's my question. Someone call in with it. And then Ken will get it instantly and win :)

What is the name of the dog (the character) in the movie E.T.?
  6:28pm hamburger:

quote mark tips Ken!
"governor of new york" "married in 1900" gets you Al Smith as the 2nd result
  6:30pm Nerwin Knoblocker:

@MfS :) - http://jumpshare.com/v/i7ZDo6?b=H7rAe5
  6:30pm Danne D:

I wish I wasn't in the office - I would so call with a different trivia question :( A good one
  6:31pm Danne D:

Anybody following me on twitter who wants to call in with a trivia question DM me :)
  6:32pm Robert:

No, not intrusive, Danne, and I get a sick thrill out of seeing or hearing our heroes squirm. Like me now, when I'm trying to figure out how to raise the money for Nov. rent.
  6:32pm G:

DM you, Danne D! :-)

That's worse than Damn you, autocorrect, huh?
  6:32pm Danne D:

I look like I never excercised :(
  6:33pm Danne D:

lol Direct Message - G :)
  6:33pm Matt from Springfield:

@Nerwin: Good song! And I mean Nick the Bard's fill-in show good! :D
So now Nerwin Knoblocker has a Google link AND theme song!
  6:33pm Robert:

Too bad Alta Vista, with its NEAR operator, is gone.
  6:33pm Danne D:

nobody got the name of the dog in E.T. ?
6:33pm Listener John from NJ who lives in NJ:

I agree with the caller: Don't mess with the exorcism. You may not believe in evil spirits, but they believe in you.
  6:34pm Danne D:

doesn't Philly Boy Roy use Alta?
  6:35pm Listener zero:

What if after the exorcism Ken was an L7 and made WFMU into an NPR affiliate?
  6:35pm Harvey:

  6:35pm Danne D:

source of ken's mistake:
  6:35pm Caryn:

@Danne: we can't say it until someone calls in with it. Or maybe if we use Pig Latin... Arvey-Hay.
  6:35pm channeling Andy B.:

"That's how I *became* a pedophile. I used to be attracted to women, but with their taste for candy and McDonald's, it's a LOT cheaper to take kids out for dinner. Also easier to hold them down..."
  6:36pm hamburger:

I think any points that Andy 'gets' should be attributed to Andy's little Polynesian boy...
  6:36pm Danne D:

@caryn :) my dog had the same name :)
  6:37pm Danne D:

I am very upset that the dog in "Strange Brew" is not on this list:

  6:37pm Caryn:

@Danne: aww, nice!
  6:37pm Matt from Springfield:

Listener Zero: That would be a concept--for one of Ken's shows he turns the station into "public radio" for 3 hours!
  6:38pm Danne D:

8( nobody missed Me at the shut up weirdo meet-up

  6:38pm Robert:

Danne, your dog had the same name as Andy's pool boy?
  6:39pm Caryn:

@Danne: well, Hosehead is too good at looking like a skunk. He must have confused the makers of the list.
  6:39pm G:

@Danne D: I know what DM means. I also know it's fun fucking with you ;-)
  6:39pm Listener zero:

John McCabe – he reminds me of the time when Shut Up Weirdo was Andy Cohen's show, named after a saying of Andy Cohen's daughter. Before it got hijacked by the Frangry.
  6:39pm Danne D:

nopers as the dog in E.T.

Btw awesome Magic Pan commercial:
  6:40pm Greg:

What is Wikipedia?
  6:40pm Matt from Springfield:

Whoa, Andy's got a whole new source of entertainment! He'll never get to sleep tonight! =)
  6:40pm Danne D:

@Caryn :) I think hosehead was played by Ralph the Dog (no I did not google that)
  6:40pm hamburger:

... this is the writer of Monk ...
  6:40pm Listener zero:

  6:40pm G:

Did you get the "SUWfailure" document on google docs, Listener zero? Andy gives you access if you email him...
  6:40pm hamburger:

"would we get the same random article?" XD
  6:41pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Andy needs to do a "I'm feeling lucky" Google search for "Where is Chuck Norris.
  6:41pm Caryn:

They should do a "random Wikipedia articles" episode of 7SD. Don't mix it into this episode!
  6:41pm Danne D:

Whoa G going all secret squirrel here
  6:42pm Matt from Springfield:

@Danne: Scott Bakula!
  6:42pm G:

Just keepin it real, D(awg) :-P
  6:43pm Robert:

So this van de Veld was a precursor to Ed Gein?
  6:43pm Listener zero:

Mmmmh, cheese.
  6:43pm PMD:

Welcome Tim
  6:43pm Caryn:

@Danne: googled it. It was Buddy the Dog. Sorry.
  6:44pm PMD:

BTW Andy's Korean boy is very sad.
  6:44pm Danne D:

damn :( I used to know that
  6:44pm hamburger:

Go-Go Google / wasn't this show once called 'the happy shack' or sth?
  6:45pm Danne D:

I still remember the famous play it's based on though, Caryn :)
  6:46pm Caryn:

@Danne: heh :) Would love that version done as Shakespeare in the Park.
  6:46pm Danne D:

Possible source of my confusion, Caryn? http://www.amazon.com/Ralph-The-Dog/dp/B001NZR44Q
  6:47pm PMD:

Poor Andy, sucks when Ken gets a zinger.
  6:47pm Caryn:

@Danne: cool!
  6:48pm Danne D:

Barry Brust currently plays for the Abbotsford Heat in the AHL
  6:49pm Caryn:

@Danne: I love the fact that in "Strange Brew", "Return of the Jedi" is referred to only as "Jedi", because the full name hadn't been decided yet. Which reminds me, I have an old magazine that advertises "Revenge of the Jedi" with a full-page ad. Nice.
  6:50pm Matt from Springfield:

Very briefly, in 1836. After the Second Bank was vetoed, and right before a recession.
  6:51pm Danne D:

  6:51pm Americans:

We owe, we owe
It's off to work we go
  6:52pm Danne D:

@caryn - you should go on pawn stars with that magazine :)
  6:53pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

If I remember correctly it's George Lucas' hands that are holding the lightsaber on the ROTJ poster.
  6:54pm Matt from Springfield:

Don't be nervous Listener John, you did great! Very knowledgable!
  6:55pm Matt from Springfield:

LOL, Andy's "journeys"! :D
  6:55pm Danne D:

Carol Crawford: http://nd01.jxs.cz/649/510/a51e0b1544_33114782_o2.jpg
  6:56pm Caryn:

@Danne: I also have a magazine where Mark Hammill is interviewed about "Jedi" before filming is fully underway, and when asked about what he expects the movie to include, such as plot twists and the "Vader as his father" thing, Hammill says he hopes there are no further twists, like Leia being his sister or something, which he would consider dumb. Hah!
  6:56pm John McCabe in L.A.:

Andy and is random articles I think i created a monster
  6:57pm Skype:

Not so terrible. For an old dude.
  6:57pm Danne D:

later folks :)
  6:58pm Matt from Springfield:

Great show! *for* 7SD! ;)
A splendid time was had by most! Have a good night everyone!
  6:59pm BadGuyZero (Dallas, TX):

Mark Hammill was Laurie's boyfriend on an episode of "The Partridge Family" that was on a few days ago.
