  9:38pm
bennett4senate:

first of all, the cabbie asked me what I wanted to listen to, and I said "well, there's this one station..."

he tuned in 91.1 and yo, the cabbie LOVED it - you were playing some heavy dark minimal techno and he turned it way up and started bouncing around in his seat and going (heavy non-specific Eastern-European accent) "this is crazy! this is crazy music! can you imagine in the club?! can you imagine how people dancing to this in a club?!?! HAHAHAH!!!!"
and I got home safe and sound
  9:38pm
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

  9:49pm
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

@Anne, thank you! Hahaha! Pasties allowed (I hear). Climbing out of the service window, and into El Caminos, or the beds of pickup trucks, to sweeten the order...frowned upon.
  9:50pm
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

Hi Joe Mulligan!
  9:56pm
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

You have been a formidable host and co-host this pledge period. You and Meghan were a riot together. A quiet riot. I drifted off to sleep listening, but this next week I will make up for my drift with a pledge during your fantastic show. Another new discovery for me. I am looking forward to it. Running my Mouse of Today around to brand new bright corners. Xo, WFMU'ers!
  9:57pm
bryce:

hi, ayn!
  9:57pm

  10:03pm
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

You all make me miss doing radio work terribly. I split time between Washington and Portland, Oregon. Think I'll look for an outlet down there to satisfy this nagging desire to play records again for yet to be discovered friends.
  10:09pm
Julie:

I like this side of Bryce
  10:10pm
Adam from Lynnwood, Washington:

Listened to Billy Jam's archived interview with Ian MacKaye today at wfmu.org. Such a blast.
  10:11pm

  10:18pm
Joe Mulligan:

Hey Julie!
  10:26pm
Noel in DC:

You have made my night--"Do the Method" was THE first song I liked as a young kid growing up in Atlanta. The early and mid-80s were such a great musical time in Athens and Atlanta, and the Method Actors were definitely a fav of mine among so many other bands in the area. I swear I still remember how I felt hearing this song when I was 12 or 13 (I'm 41 now)

Songs like this are why I pledged--Thanks, Daniel!
  10:26pm
Julie:

I hope you're all wearing your fishy hats
  10:43pm
Mad Dog & CMF & Jphine:

Dont forget to finish explaining the concept behind your premium...
  10:43pm
dc pat:

FMU's motto should be "there's a ton of music!"
  10:44pm
Ike:

Fishy hats? Are we talking whitefish or piranha or what? Are they raw?
  10:45pm
Julie:

They are merely fedoras that SMELL like Fish
  10:46pm
Ike:

I could adopt Bryce, since I already pledged the right amt., but I don't want to have to clean his litter box or make sure he puts on his uniform and gets to the school bus on time.
  10:52pm
pat:

Keep pledging people!!! Freeform must live!!!
  10:55pm
D. Blumin:

D. Blumin, get with the program! Keep up with the comments...
