@Yes - I agree with the above recommendations for starting with Betty Davis. Her output was slim but each record is massive. Light In The Attic records has re-issued most of her recordings so you can pick up physical or digital copies there.

I would create dead silence at the end until someone could explain Irony in the end of the film between the song there and the scene/visuals .. also "foreshadowing". The students actually liked the literary challenges ... it actually encouraged active engagement with texts and films and tunes..
