Swag For Life Member 9:50pm Bruce S.:

I love this
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:51pm mariano:

Ohhh, Michael Shore: I wasn't paying attention. That version of "Turning Japanese" is one of Rick Moranis's very best.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:53pm Mr. Pumpy:

For anyone that appreciates real heavy...no, not 'real heavy metal, I mean extremely heavy metal. I listen to all types of things, but sometimes I'm on a proper metal tear through the headphones (I do the headphones A LOT since I moved in with pops) and I click over to WFMU. I say I simply switch gears 85% of the time. That's a testament to the quality of music, across so many genres, this station puts out. From Irwin to Creamo to Sheila to Ira...things are happening! I was just blasting both Immolation and early Opeth before that, yet...here I am. WoofMoo!
Swag For Life Member 9:56pm Bruce S.:

And It's great that WFMU is happening now, present tense, It's today man
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:56pm Mr. Pumpy:

mariano...same. Hanging in. Glad to hear you are finishing something. You have been damn busy! As you may have read in the local rag, I've been getting my death metal on. I don't usually see much support on the boards for the crazy heavy stuff, although I don't really bring it up either. Where is Marty McSorley when you need him?!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:56pm Mr. Pumpy:

@Bruce...it's so now it's almost tomorrow!
  9:57pm Michael Shore:

all good Mariano. or should I say all fahhhn, as in veddeo...

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:02pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...on a Prunella Scales of 1 to 10
- this station goes to 11.
Well this Program in fact starts @ 9 & goes to 12...
Swag For Life Member 10:02pm Ira:

Good evening, Little Danny. Bruce S., keep your negativity to yourself! And by negativity, I mean accurately describing the events going on around you.
Avatar 10:03pm vj pussycat:

ha the butterman! i'm not the only one
Swag For Life Member 10:03pm Bruce S.:

Ok no more bad news
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04pm mariano:

Mr P: One of my favorite Marty moments of the last year was when he played Death's cover of "Painkiller." I hadn't heard that one before, it's my current go-to metal jam.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:04pm chresti:

Happy hazy not lazy dayz, Ira and company!
Swag For Life Member 10:05pm Ira:

In case it's not clear, Bruce S., I'm joking. Although one of the perks of this show is not being able to follow tonight's game any more closely than I am.
Avatar 10:06pm John L:

Also the birthday of Paul Frees aka Boris Badenov, among many others. It's odd when I see him in a movie; his voice seems disembodied somehow.
Avatar 10:06pm Mr & Mrs Bobby Microwave:

loving this tune
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:07pm Mr. Pumpy:

Has anyone here ever heard a mushroom, onion, and mozzarella burger called a Mom (M.O.M) Burger? Or did someone make that association for me 25 years back while only 3 or 4 have been ordered, on Earth, since then, therefore not warranting any type of name at all?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:08pm mariano:

Top o' the evenin' to ya, chresti!
Swag For Life Member 10:08pm Bruce S.:

I think the Mets have a good tuesday night record though

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:09pm Mr. Pumpy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:13pm Mr. Pumpy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm Franco Twinkie:

My pleasure Mr. Pumpy, that was the abridged version. There was so much I wouldn't or couldn't say, but brevity works when your trying to make sense out of the mess that is your life.
  10:15pm johnnymms:

Yeah that Pullman track was nice
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:15pm Mr. Pumpy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:16pm Mr. Pumpy:

mariano, I'm getting hints of Zydeco. What are your thoughts?
Avatar 10:17pm John L:

Little Danny: I wish I still had my copy of the OST of "The Abominable Dr Phibes." Frees did some of the vocals, singing 1940's standards. One of my favorite childhood films, 50 years ago this year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:17pm Mr. Pumpy:

Franco, from where I'm sitting. It was perfect. I hope you got something out of it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18pm Franco Twinkie:

I did. I grew up a little bit.
