can I ask a question of the group? I recently set out to rebuild my physical cd collection and move away from streaming svcs, but in this new world, where TF does one buy cd albums?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:43pm
Mike da Scag:

Does Downtown Music Gallery still have lots of CDs?
Avatar 5:44pm

@NikiA Ebay. DJs sell their entire collections for a penny a disc. I buy in bulk there or go to Discogs if you want something uber specific or rare
  5:45pm
NikiA:

oooh @hyperdose thank you
Mike- I'll check them out. I am in north jersey just outside the city and I sort of assumed everything in NYC is closed
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:46pm
Handy Haversack:

NikiA, we have been prioritizing on Bandcamp Fridays bands that have CDs since we've been driving more in hashtagcovidaloca. So plenty of bands on Bandcamp are pressing and selling CDs. My glances into the local record shops confirm that there are still CD sections. I'm off the Ebay since their true corporate colors were revealed (see Techtonic playlists for details). The record shops in our neighborhood are open for limited browsing.

Seal off any cracks/spaces in your apt. (around windows, outlets, light fixtures, switches, etc.) @hyperdose. You can freeze them with a fire extinguisher and toss them outside, they'll come back to life after they thaw, (at least, I think they will)
