Comment: Thanks for listening to this episode of The Dusty Show my dear friend listener. As you may or may not have noticed, I have been slacking somewhat on doing my playlists in the last few weeks. This is NOT good. I could flog myslef and say it is laziness, but it is more than that. What exactly, I'm not sure. Tired. Unmotivated. Any number of things. All of this has culminated in an undercurrent of worry on my part, that I am losing the spark necessary to continue. I feel somewhat sparked, actually. If you must know, I have been staying up later than EVER on Wednesday nights to finsih the latest programs. They usually entail going out on Tuesday for interviews after work from 6:30pm - 9:30pm. Coming home and dumping down the interviews from micro-cassette onto my laptop. At that point I begin going through and editing each interview. Cutting out the flab and a lot of the uhs and ahs that can be totally annoying after 734 uhs and ahs. Then I have to string the interviews together with music and soundbytes and whatever. The last three Wednesday night/Thursday mornings I have been up until 7:30am, 9:30am (a new record) and 8:00am consecutively. This means I call into my day job and tell them I am not coming in until 12:30pm. So I get maybe 3 hours of bad sleep, drag myself to work, get off at 4:30 - take the PATH train to Jersey City, go on the air with Fabio in a state of near psychotic sleep deprivation, and then air the Dusty Show. It's greuling! I DO enjoy it, though. Perhaps I am not 'mixing it up' enough? I have just been doing what I do and hoping it connects somehow. At any rate, I thank you for checking in and for taking an interest. I appreciate it. Until next time, take care and always remember ..... CPnyc7211599
