walked by The Fairmont hotel today (to drop off ups) -- noticed for the first time it was all boarded up (black plywood). i don't go outside much, so it was visually striking to me. no shortage of busy cafes though (and school kids going to chool *gasp*) i think i'll stay inside again for a while

Therese: funny you mention Josh. A cousin of mine wrote a Mardi Gras novelty song earlier this year and hired session musicians for the recording, including Josh (he got me to play bass so he wouldn't have to pay for a bassist lol). He's made quite a name for himself as a pianist. I don't know Debbie but I will definitely keep an eye out for them. I hear Josh's name all the time on WOZ's live music roundup.
