Riding my bicycle to work this morning a big Red-Tailed Hawk swooped across the road in front of me and settled in a tree above some construction workers in a park west of the corner of Flushing and Evergreen. I stopped and walked up on the sidewalk and once he figured out I was looking at him, he took off again. The construction guys never saw him at all.
