Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from November 2, 2018 Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

I find myself f two minds on next Tuesday. I am not worried about the candidates for whom I will vote getting elected (although they will almost all be people I didn't vote for in the primaries), but I am pessimistic to the point of crushing depression over what's going to happen in elections over which I have no control. For what very little talismanic value it may have, I plan to decline the "I voted" sticker, which I have worn while watching my candidates lose three times in a row now.
