My favorite Elvis Costello song! I'm sorry to hear about his recent health issues. Wishing him a speedy recovery!

Michael, I am of the opinion that man or woman has yet to achieve higher expression than "Shut it off, shut it off, buddy now I shut you down." It's really the greatest lyric ever. Although this Nick Lowe composition is pretty good.

Hi ho from Yerevan
  Sat. 7/7/18 11:30am Dean:

I shared a folder of o-l-d Go Go's live tracks with Joe McGasko some months ago. Happy to share with you, too, @MS. Sound quality is raspy, but even so, the band sounds nothing like what you're used to.

please email me the link!
thanks!

Done, via the WFMU contact page. I might need an email to share the Drive folder with you.

Hearing Pet Sounds done symphonically when Brian Wilson tried to make the album's music sound as though it was being played by unidentifiable instruments is--well, a disappointment.
  Sat. 7/7/18 11:41am Dennis Diken:

Can't tell if it's on this mix but I've always marveled at the tambourine work on "Too Many Fish In The Sea," it's exquisite!
Avatar Swag For Life Member Sat. 7/7/18 11:43am Michael Shelley:

MOTOWN definitely knew how to work with tambourines!
