Every single week, Joe Besser announces himself and the guy on the other side of the door falls for it and gets taken completely by surprise. What a maroon!

And every week Fibber Mcgee opened that closet
  Thu. 9/29/16 9:12pm IFisher:

Avatar Swag For Life Member Thu. 9/29/16 11:35pm Sean B.:

Jeesh Dave what an exceptional Jerry Lee tribute...man, thanx. And Yes As long as people like Fats & Jerry Lee are kickin the world is a far better place. Especially Fats, but man I took it pretty hard when Bo passed. Yep, my 1 cent.
  Thu. 9/29/16 11:41pm ed:

i wish i would have seen bo when he played last
  Thu. 9/29/16 11:45pm Sean B.:

Yeah Ed, that would have been something. Good ol' Bo and his heart of gold and a guitar tone and style to match. My fave period.
  Thu. 9/29/16 11:53pm P-90:

Caught Bo's last show in New York, at BB Kings.
Wonderful, he played his heart out, he didn't "phone it in" or skinmp like I've seen some (unnamed) elder statesmen do.
Thu. 9/29/16 11:53pm Tommy Jack Haynes:

I never heard so much Jerry Lee solo piano. He is really so on top of it . His meter is perfect . I know cause I play too and I'm always speeding up
  Fri. 9/30/16 12:00am Sean B.:

Well P90 that must have been great. It was a pleasure to be among all you good peeps. Love you all...and thanks Dave!
  Fri. 9/30/16 12:04am P-90:

Thanks Dave and Bingo, and Many Happy Returns, Killer!

I miss hearing Max Crook's musitron during the opening theme. Every now and then would be OK.
Avatar Fri. 9/30/16 10:25am Daddy-o Dilly:

The Killer rocks on!
Avatar Fri. 9/30/16 12:32pm Daddy-o Dilly:

Joe Clay made awesome records.
Avatar Fri. 9/30/16 4:28pm Daddy-o Dilly:

Well now, by Jerry Lee's own words on many occasions, he has often listed four major influences: Hank Williams, Jimmy Rodgers, Al Jolson, and Moon Mullican.
Avatar Fri. 9/30/16 7:24pm Dave the Spazz:

"Y’know, son, there’s only been four of us: Al Jolson, Jimmie Rodgers, Hank Williams and Jerry Lee Lewis. That’s your only goddam four stylists that ever lived. We could write, sing, yodel, dance, make love, or what. Makes no damn difference. The rest of these idiots is either ridin’ a damn horse, pickin’ a guitar, or shootin’ somebody in some stupid damn movie."
