the absence of this and Dangerous for the Brain from the schedule means FMU's going mainstream as far as I can see... not good. hey from Sydney, DJ Nong

ausmanx, i'm totally agree with you. It's sad and this two show's was very interesting (especially for me). I was happy to discover NN on WFMU and then I became permanent listener.
Thank you, Ning Nong, for your hosting. Hope you will return, at least, for fill-ins.

If your passion is music and you're looking to discover new and challenging sounds, then NNR provided that consistently. As a regular and trusted listener of WFMU, I do listen to other shows that are broadcast on the station, but this particular show is one of the best. So why discontinue it? As the Hüskers would say: makes no sense at all

DJ Ning Nong:

hey everyone, thanks for the kind words! i've chosen to take a break for various reasons but i hope to be back. it means a lot to me that you appreciate the program! thank you!

- great listening ;
Broadcast here sound to me midway in a spectrum between United States of America & Stereolab! (- probably way off)...
...Pleased that DJs who are leaving generally seem to be saying it's their choice...Sort of !...

...the rigors of an early A.M. timeslot are reason enuff for anyone to question their commitment, seems to me...

Hello Ning Nong, I discovered your show only a few months ago and have spent much of that time catching up on the archival pod-casts as well as enjoying the new shows. Thank you for exposing us to some of the most unique and far-reaching pieces of audio ever created! I am very sad to see you go, but I wish you best in whatever the future holds for you. I hope that one day soon you are back, either here or somewhere else, to continue to share your incredible aural selections with us. Cheers! Take care, Chris
